Lovely accommodation, friendly staff. We stayed for 3 nights to attend an event in Oxford. Was lovely being in the countryside, and only 20 mins to Oxford. Near to an amazing farm shop too.

Cheap for a reason.

Friendly staff member but that's it. Room was in a very poor state of condition, no restaurant on week day,stained lining and towels, broken bath tiles, window doesn't close fully so lets water and noise in.dirty glasses in room.

Just one little niggle

Good location for exploring the nearby North Wessex Downs (The Ridgeway, etc) Very comfortable rooms, the only thing that bothered me was the led light (safety feature) on the ceiling light: too bright.

Recommended.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant area was particularly good. The rooms (we had 3) were clean and a good size, with comfortable beds. Very good value for money.
