Lovely hotel and people

Lovely people, requested a light for the desk and a heater for the room and was provided straight away, a little disappointed that the Italian Resturant is not open through the week as I was looking forward to having their food but they tolls me about a lovely local pub which was great, have an English breakfast in the morning which was cooked beautifully. It would be useful to have a shelf in the shower to hold the shower gel provided. Would stay here again

Lovely accommodation, friendly staff. We stayed for 3 nights to attend an event in Oxford. Was lovely being in the countryside, and only 20 mins to Oxford. Near to an amazing farm shop too.

Cheap for a reason.

Friendly staff member but that's it. Room was in a very poor state of condition, no restaurant on week day,stained lining and towels, broken bath tiles, window doesn't close fully so lets water and noise in.dirty glasses in room.

Just one little niggle

Good location for exploring the nearby North Wessex Downs (The Ridgeway, etc) Very comfortable rooms, the only thing that bothered me was the led light (safety feature) on the ceiling light: too bright.
