The room was spotless and had all the described amenities. The staff was welcoming and courteous. The location was ideal for walking to the National Mall and the valet was so convenient. Definitely recommend this place.

The room is was okay. Bare minimums needs met. Could use another trash can in the room by the sink. The room with two queen beds, doesn’t have a microwave. Staff is friendly. Great hot water. Hotel is the perfect spot in DC.

Make sure you do not get a room in the alley. Apparently garbage trucks back down them at 5am with real loud audible alarms. Needless to say was up at 5am. Was super loud.

Went there to get the chance to tour D.C. This location is extremely close to all the sight seeing areas along with transportation. We loved how easy it was to go everywhere. In terms of the area itself it was a bit old. The breakfast area is small and interferes with traffic of other customers who are coming in and out. Luckily, there were many places outside that had breakfast, lunch and dinner. The room had scratches and slight rust in the bathroom. I do want to emphasize that everything was clean and organized. The bathroom needed some updates. The elevator made us very nervous as it was also very old. We stayed in the 8th floor and were contemplating taking the stairs due to all the creaking from the elevator. After a while, we got used to it.

I was checked in by Mike. He was very welcoming, gave me suggestions for places to visit and eat at while in town. The room was great as well. I had a nice view of the city. The hotel is minutes away from the Washington monument, Lincoln Memorial and museums. I did not have to travel far for anything, which I loved. Definitely will be staying here again on my next visit!
