I do not recommend staying at Whistler Peak Lodge. From the first night, our experience was unacceptable. The fire alarm went off at 4 a.m. with no explanation. After waiting in the lobby for about 15 minutes with no staff present, an employee eventually arrived, entered our room, and stood on our bed with his shoes to unplug the alarm. Later, maintenance came to replace the alarm but left a large mess of dust on our bed. Housekeeping was asked to clean it, but the door was left improperly latched, and as a result, my wallet was stolen from the room. We immediately requested a refund, but five days later we are still being told “it’s being dealt with.” Each day we are promised answers “tomorrow,” but nothing has been resolved. This has been one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. Between the lack of professionalism, security issues, and refusal to take accountability, I cannot recommend this property to anyone.

Murphy bed's rod kept falling out. Room door has to slam in order to close. Expedia ad said free parking but need to pay $20 per day. Steps away from Avalanche pizza, Tim Horton's, Earl's, and other restaurants. Fire alarm went off with no direction from staff to evacuate or not

This was a great option for the five of us on our short stay in Whistler. The underground parking was easy and convenient. Great location in the village area to lots of great restaurants and shopping.

Biking in Whistler

Good value for the price, excellent location, convenient parking and bike storage. The downfall, the toilets were installed for midgets and the buttons on the elevator are very worn out and hard to read.

The property was exactly what we expected based on the description and preview reviews read. It's quite old however for the price it did the job. It was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful. It was nice to have the kitchen and in suite laundry. The shower head needs to be changed as it's old and sprays everywhere. We would stay here again!

It’s easy check in and out. Great suite, though the dishwashing sponge was questionable when it comes to cleanliness. Unsure why a staff has also mentioned about free laundry soap when there was no laundromat in the building nor near by.(closest one was 10min drive). Staff are very nice, would have been nice too if there were stairs available in the building,there was only one elevator and our room was only one level up from lobby level. Overall, it is in great location as it’s nearby everything from coffee shops, restaurants, stores to even shoppers drugmart too.

Wonderful restaurants within walking distance. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff made sure we received clean towels promptly when we needed them. We received a later checkout time when we requested it as our transportation to the airport was later in the day than the normal checkout time. We had a very pleasant stay in Whistler.

we needed two beds so we took the queen bed and murphy bed option, mistake. the queen mattress was not great and the murphy bed mattress was thin and uncomfortable. Poor air conditioner, it was the afterthought plug in type of unit. there was ununiform room cooling and the fan was in disrepair and wonky and very loud. our room was above a public walkway that seemed to be the area of a late night gathering spot featuring loud colorful language.

The location is the best part about this property. Right in the middle of the Whistler Village stroll boulevard, hence quiet as well as convenient. Their spa was broken when we visited. The rooms were ok. We had a deluxe queen room with a Murphy bed, which was hard to sleep on, but I guess manageable for a few nights. A fully equipped kitchen was a bonus as we could carry takeouts, heat in the microwave or oven, & even cook early morning or late night meals. Building access through side doors (not connected to front desk lobby) & that too different ones for different times was odd & confusing. The elevator wait times during peak hours were brutal at times. The room is very compact & with a place air conditioner at one end, it makes it even tighter. I guess it was worth the price we paid, and I would recommend it as a budget option to family and friends.

Great location, easy to walk into Whistler Village. Room was older but clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to make our own meals. Would definitely stay here again.

This is my go-to hotel in the village. Our room had a murphy bed and a full kitchen. There is plenty of space in the room to stretch out after a long day in the bike park, then fold the second down to sleep. It is comfortable accommodations for those who don't want a "resort" hotel. Short walk to the grocery store, shops, and most importantly the chair lift.
