Great Staff

The hotel staff was great.  Our check-in with Tyler was fast and our bellman, Dan- was great.  Housekeeping did a good job- over the six nights our room was always taken care of before we returned. We had a problem with the valet and Ashley- the Manager on Duty - handled it.  He took care of the issue as best as he could and we felt satisfied with the resolution.

Great Location and Helpful Staff

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet
Me and two friends stopped at the Pan Pacific in July 2012 after a 7-day mountain bike race. We were so tired we could have slept for 2 days in a bed of leaves. The hotel was very comfortable though, even more than expected for the price. We had a great time going out in Whistler Village where we were located, riding the downhill park which ended at our hotel steps, pool time with a view of Whistler mountain, and sleeping. The staff was very accommodating and helped us store and retrieve our mountain bikes in a special bike / luggage locker. Overall, I would definitely stay there again.

Gracious and welcoming staff

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Quiet
My short stay in Whistler was foggy and rainy which clouded my view of the area and the hotel. The staff could not have been more welcoming and gracious, very attentive to my concerns and questions. The room was clean and well appointed; the Murphy bed made it feel larger and more spacious. There are two separate Pan Pacific hotels with a block of each other which was confusing at first. Some resturants, shopping and the mountain trams are all in easy walking distance. All in all, I felt the hotel is what it claims itself to be,

Nice view and cozy rooms for families especially with kids and seniors

We had a 2 bedrooms suite and it's a very cozy unit with good views of the mountains and the village. When traveling with kids and elder parents, having the mini-kitchen is always a plus! The only thing I really have to complain is the fact that the flat screen TV is mounted at an odd height on the wall, making it quite uncomfortable for viewing! In fact, your neck gets sore after a while.... Overall, it's at a great location with excellent views... sure would love to visit again sometime soon!

Fantastic location, comfortable and stylish room

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet
We had a very enjoyable summer weekend at the Pan Pacific Mountainside in Whistler. The location is ideal, right at the base of the gondolas, with views of the mountains. The hotel is elegant but comfortable, and the room was similarly appointed. Service was very good - we had a small issue with the DVD player, which was promptly repaired. The Dublin Gate restaurant became a favorite. Would stay again, but probably couldn't afford to except during the summer when deals can be good.

I will stay there every time I go to Whistler

We were recommended this hotel by my brother who had stayed there before and have to say "WOW" I was very impressed. Where do I start? Free upgrade because it was our wedding anniversary, excellent customer service, great location in the Whistler Village, Very comfortable beds, full of amenities in the room from the mulitple plasmas, full kitchen, very roomy, nice pool / hot tub, and excellent restaurant. They asked us about our room an hour after we checked in and also brought up some nice treats complimentary for our stay. They also gave us good recommendations of what to do during our stay. I will not only stay there again but we are planning on having an annual family trip there and will recommend this hotel to all our friends and family. :)

Nice Hotel, Not Enough Staff to Support

We stayed here from August 13-16, 2010 to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel was fully booked. The valet was nowhere to be found but we were still charged the parking fee :( The hotel told us that there were no other rooms available ( checked in at 3:30pm) so we ended up in the room directly across from the entrance door to the pool. Very loud to say the least. I did ask again to move to an upper floor, but was told that "next time book directly with the hotel" to get a view room, which we paid for. The hotel room itself was very nice, clean, well equipped with anything you would need in the kitchen. Next time I would call ahead way in advance to insure a view room would be waiting for us, especially when we planned a quiet, relaxing time and ended up in probably the loudest room in the hotel.
