Check in was awful. She couldn't even open front door for us. Didn't know computer and was unable to give us another key. Was 20 minutes waiting but nothing happened Think may be new and badly trained. Bathroom sink wouldn't empty We were tolf to pull the handle th9likg on nscl of tap which we'd dome tried again but no joy. Nobody came to look at it. Cold used water still in bowl in morning. Not nice and no staff cared.

It was very convenient for Haydock Park races, parking available and a 10 to 15 minute leisurely walk. Staff were friendly and welcoming and managed to have a room ready beforecwe set off for the races.
