Brand new mattresses, linens, furniture and supplies as of 2019.
Must be able to walk up one flight of stairs to the apartment- no elevator.

It is a large, open apartment on the 2nd floor of an old, historic building. There are several steps up to the 2nd floor, which may be an issue for some, but the apartment was lovely & well maintained.

Such a joy to find a place in Windsor close to my parents and brother/sister-in-law. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. The check in was easy and communication was quick. The only issue would be for someone who has trouble with stairs and/or needs the bathroom to be close to bedroom. It was perfect for us. We will be back.

Wonderful Windsor Walkup

I appreciated the free parking across the street, the a/c & ceiling fans. I had trouble with the lockbox, but was rescued by the kind owner of the shop next door. (She graciously helped me again as I was leaving.) I climbed 18 steps & entered to find the place as described in the listing. I appreciated having both a kitchen table & a long counter with additional chairs that I used as a desk & workspace. Suggestion: I'm a tea drinker & would've liked a tea pot in which to boil water. Breakfast at the Windsor Diner blew me away--I've never had eggs with a slice of ham that thick & delicious! The Standard building is very convenient to Binghamton & all it has to offer. I hope to revisit, maybe in a different season.

Friendly place in historic district

We couldn’t have been more pleased with this apartment above a wonderful coffee house. The place was pristine, communication with the owner was timely and friendly. We couldn’t have had a more relaxing and comfortable stay. The community is friendly with restaurants a few steps away. We enjoyed the farmer market as well.. We look forward to another visit.

Home again

I grew up in Windsor and spent considerable time in the Windsor Standard conversing with their typesetter and our Boy Scout Troop Sr. leader. I left in 1968 and now return nearly every year for a few days. This is without a doubt the best place to stay in or near the village. I have visited all around the US and I still think Windsor is the most beautiful part of our great country.

Windsor’s best!

A very nice, modern apartment in the historic 1892 Windsor Standard building. The absolute best of many places I’ve stayed in the area over the years. The kitchen was fairly new and well laid out. The 2 BR were nicely sized with comfortable beds. A nice living room and good dining area topped it all off. I was really pleased and will definitely stay there again!

Wonderful place to stay. Large bedrooms with comfy beds. Super comfy couch. Bright and airy. So much better than a hotel. Quiet and relaxing. Great communication. Definitely recommend. Make the trip to Donoli's for some great food. Menu in the drawer and the chinese next door pretty good as well.

Shower was broken, it took 4 days to locate a property manager. Then within an hour, a repairman arrived and fixed it. Contact information visible on the property would have been very helpful. That said, very clean and exactly as pictured. Also a chair in the living room would have been very appreciated. Thanks!
