Yosemite Summit & Little Summit is a spacious 5-bedroom duplex mountain cabin, with 3 bedrooms & 2 baths in the upper unit (Yosemite Summit) and 2 bedrooms & 1 bath in the lower unit (Little Summit), which can accommodate 14 guests located inside Yosemite National Park, in an area called Yosemite West. We rent out both units of the duplex to one group at a time. These units do not connect on the inside, each unit has its own outside entrance. Well behaved dogs are welcome for an additional fee, $50/night for up to two dogs. Please note no dogs on furniture or beds and dogs cannot be left unattended in the home.


Enjoy modern amenities (AC, Satellite Starlink Wi-Fi (upgraded internet enables you to streaming your favorite movies), laundry (with detergent), game room, EV car charging station (The EV charger has Port J1772 connector so Teslas will likely need an adaptor), backup generator (ensures your vacation doesn’t get interrupted in the event of a power outage) Cable TV via Youtube TV & Blue Ray DVD player.


This cabin has one of the best home locations in Yosemite West, on top of a mountain knoll and on the mountain side of Yosemite Park Way. The cabin has spectacular views of the surrounding mountains, canyons, and forest, all while being centrally located to the Valley, Badger Pass/Glacier Point, and the Mariposa Sequoia Grove. Flat parking for five cars in summer and three cars in winter (a rare find and no steps from parking area to lower unit) with turnaround spot. Relax and recharge in this custom-built duplex cabin. In the upper unit, Yosemite Summit, enter from the entryway and mudroom into the large open great room with 15-foot ceilings with breathtaking mountain and forest views, custom river rock propane gas fireplace and custom built live-edge walnut console table. Beautiful, vaulted custom cedar plank ceilings give this home a warm and inviting feel.


Enjoy gourmet cooking in the fully equipped large gourmet kitchen complete with new top of the line Kitchen Aid Stainless Steel appliances, gas range with double oven, large double sink, elegant All-Clad cookware, Kitchen Aid standing mixer, Vitamix blender and food processor, Keurig Duo coffee maker (bring your favorite Keurig K-cup pods), Instant pot multi cooker, Crock Pot, Zojirushi rice cooker, and a Zojirushi water boiler for tea or cocoa. Dine at the beautiful rustic mahogany table that seats 12 or kitchen peninsula which seats 4. The house has a huge deck (27 x 11 foot) for eating and relaxing outdoors, grilling on Weber BBQ (propane provided), watching sunrise and sunsets, stargazing, watching wildlife and mule deer and taking in the beautiful views.


Spend the evenings around the fire, watching TV, watching DVD movies, or playing games in the game room (Kick Titan 55” tournament foosball table, poker table, Nintendo Classic Edition Video Game Console, cards and board games are provided or bring your favorites). Energy efficient features, EV charging station, and custom bedroom furniture sourced from locally salvaged Ponderosa Pine wood makes your stay a green choice too. Enjoy your best night’s sleep as you lay on the top-rated Casper Cal-King Original Hybrid and Spring Air Hughes Hybrid mattress, paired with gorgeous custom-built platform beds from locally salvaged Ponderosa Pine, complete with Caspers pillows, soft linens and plenty of warm blankets.


In the lower unit, Little Summit, you enter from the flat parking area and there are no stairs to climb to enter this unit. The lower unit features its own full-sized kitchen, game room, full bath with tub/shower combo, and 2 bedrooms. This unique duplex cabin is a rare find with plenty of room in two separate units to accommodate up to 14 guests and is ideal for multiple family groups, extended families, large groups, and your special family gathering.
