Beautiful resort in Cancun!
Beautiful pool and grounds. Golf was very good. The resort is easy to navigate. The activities crew were a lot of fun. I would rate the food a B or B+ - it was fine - nothing amazing. Drinks were not watered down. Wine was o.k. but clearly up grading the wine might be necessary unless you want to pay more. Service was excellent.

Iberostar overall is a very beautiful resort with great pools and beach. We had some pretty major issues with the room that we felt were not taken super seriously. Our second night there we woke up to bugs crawling all over the floor and into our bags. We had to spend a lot of time on vacation shaking ants off our clothes and luggage. The hotel did give us another room, but it wasn’t available until 3pm that day, so we didn’t have a room from 9-3 due to their dirtiness. The hotel also didn’t seem especially shocked by this and we weren’t offered anything other than free laundry in exchange for this ordeal. We also had 5 different key cards stop working for our new room, so we had to spend even more time at reception getting new keys. The food at the hotel other than the Mexican restaurant (which was by far the highlight) was bland and pretty underwhelming. Biggest pros: the staff at the bars and restaurants, the pools and beach Biggest cons: cleanliness, food
