The place is beautiful, clean. The villas are spacious. The food selection is great, employees are so nice and humble, hard working people. Highly recommend it. We most definitely go back again. The only thing is the beach has a lot more seaweed than other areas right in front of the resort but you can walk a little bit farther up to the right of the resort and the water is absolutely breathe taking, gorgeous.

It was all inclusive; the only way to go!!!! The staff was friendly and enjoys having fun with the guests! It was extremely clean too. The beach access was very close and had two bars on the beach! I highly recommend the Royal Cancun!

The place is nice. My husband, my daughter & I stayed in a 2bdrm villa. It was beautiful! You can tell it’s mostly timeshare. I overheard many owners talking about their weeks while meeting up with other family/owners catching up with one another. It’s family oriented. Lots of babies & children & big families. There’s absolutely nothing to do after 9pm on the resort. I can tell it was once a jewel timeshare for those who purchased. This is not a party place. It’s a quiet family together resort. Get the All-inclusive. The food was good. This place is geared towards total relaxation & time we’ll spent with the family. That’s it!

Everything was great but the buffet area wait staff could use some attention. My family and I felt a little ignored and bypassed a few times while they just stood around talking within themselves. It really made us feel a little uncomfortable. A woman by the name of Socorro was just awesome, her customer service and her attentive attitude was amazing. She definitely made us feel welcomed.

We had a great stay and enjoyed out time at the Royal Cancun. Very quiet and safe. If you want a quiet beach in a cove with no waves, this is the place for you. We went to Royal Sands a couple days so the kids could enjoy the waves and action there. The staff was generally very nice and always spoke to you as you walked about the property. The service at the The Palapa and the swim up bar were not super friendly or very attentive. Definitely need to have patience and not be in a hurry. The food was decent. We found we liked ordering off the menu more than eating the buffet. Omelet bar was fantastic and we ate from there every morning. Bars close at 10 (but found a lot of the time they would shut down a bit early and not serve anymore. All in all, we would probably stay there again. Rooms were fantastic and perfect for families.
