The staff at Senses are amazing. And honestly, they make it hard to leave a negative review because they really do outshine the issues we encountered. The building is in dire need of maintenance. While they did seem to be doing some repairs during our stay, we encountered issues with things such as broken jacuzzis, dirty tubs and showers, and lack of general upkeep. Especially in the rooftop lounges. The rooms smelled *distinctively* like mold. Every morning you could tell that incense was burning somewhere near the A/C intake in order to try and counteract this. The food tasted amazing, but we definitely ended up feeling nauseous majority of the days we were there. This seems to be a common occurance for tourists in Cancun though, so I don’t know if this is the resort or weak American constitution. Housekeeping was for the most part adequate or better, but most of the time they’d end up getting to our room around the time we were coming back in for the night. We honestly had a great time regardless. This resort really could be a diamond in the rough for those who like quieter adult-only AIs. It just needs a little love and care.

FILTHY motel filled with RODENTS and TRASH. food is INEDIBLE and infested with BUGS. First plate they sent us had 6 FLIES IN OUR FOOD. they let us in to the room, it REEKED OF MOLD. I went straight to the front desk to tell them the BED HAD MOLD. She told me she will come by to our room soon. We had to wait for her outside of the room because the SMELL OF MOLD was so bad, it MADE OUR THROATS SORE. SHE NEVER CAME BACK TO US as she said she would. I go back to the front desk I tell her OUR ROOM STINKS. The WHOLE DAY HAS BEEN WASTED because of this. Not one person (including the receptionist) helped us navigate the area. We saw so many RODENTS and TRASH while trying to find out where to we go. it was DISGUSTING. Now for dinner. FOOD WAS INEDIBLE. We ordered beef AND IT WAS NOT BEEF! DISGUSTING and INEDIBLE. threw half of a RAW ONION on the plate. We were STARVING after not eating anything after the PLATE SERVED WITH BUGS. We sent it back and we left the kitchen STARVING. We head back into the room. While getting for bed, right beside my friend's foot was a huge SCORPION!! We felt so uncomfortable, so hungry, so tired and we have had enough. I messaged them to speak to the manager right away. My friend and I packed our things and did not sleep all night. WE COULD NOT WAIT TO LEAVE THIS NASTY PLACE. The next morning, we noticed the TOWELS AND ROBS WERE DIRTY AND HAD HAIRS ON IT. They issued a letter stating that we will get our money back AND NEVER DID!!! I AM GOING TO GET LEGAL I

Staff was top tier. Very friendly and reliable. The tub was kinda dirty. But every room was ocean view so no need for an upgrade. Very intimate and relaxing. Massage was amazing!!!! Food was good. I’d come again

Honest review. The overall stay was nice, but not luxury. Great for the price. The tub could have used a good cleaning. Only two restaurants but food was delicious. The hotel is not close to any convenient stores which makes basic needs runs impossible. The staff was absolutely outstanding friendly and accommodating. My honest opinion if you stay here rent a car if you can. Every room is an ocean view, which was amazing. You can get your bang for your buck here but keep these thing in mind. Over all, good experience.

No beach of their own, no beach chairs , no beach towels most of the time. One of the staff in the restaurant was very rude. No room service, no water one day. Shower had some mold around the edges. View was great, room was pretty nice.

Dirty place. Very seldom towels. When leaving they tried to charge me 30.00 for a towel that had spit of blood on it, from falling down slippery stairs. No water for a day. Could not flush toilets. Place stunk like sewage. Run away from this place.

First impression is everything when I walked in to the room the floor look like the tiles was just taking up. The sheets was dirty as well as the jet tub .. they only have 2 eating places and one close at 5 the other was just ok with what they were serving.. they switched me to a second room which was ok , but the sheets was still stained looking … seem like they just need to buy new sheets.. the staff was really cool met a lot of nice people .. while we were here. But this place is more for older people that wants quiet.. very dead at 11 pm no drinks after that time as well ..

I have traveled all over the world and offer an honest review. This hotel could be a magnificent place to stay if the owners would properly maintain the facilities. The pictures listed on the Expedia site are totally far from reality. There were cockroaches all the time, behind the bathroom mirror, from holes on the bathroom tile etc. I notified front desk and they said they would take care of it and there was no change. The furniture inside the room was awful, the couches had stains and were worn out. All rooms are ocean view but they still charge more for ocean view. It is a small hotel which makes it nice without crowds. The food was great, and the service was very good from the staff. Jean Franco and Christian (front desk) were very attentive and fun to work with. They were the only reason I did not make a big deal out of all the discrepancies from the pictures and the facility. The rooms offer an in suite patio plunge pool, what they fail to state is that these plunge pools are only cold water pools, and to use it you need to request it from the front desk and they need to come out and fill it. The air conditioner was set to 70 the four days we were there and the room temp never reached that, it was always at 76-78 degrees F. Pool bar closes at 5pm and after that you need to go up and order drinks at the restaurant which closes at 10 pm. This was not convenient as we like to stay in the pool until 8 or so since it is all inclusive. Would never stay here again
