As a frequent and loyal customer of Hotels.com, I have come to expect a certain standard of excellence in my accommodations, particularly when booking through a trusted platform like yours.
From the 19th to the 24th of November, I stayed at Hotel Ducs D’Anjou in Paris (Room 64). This hotel was advertised as a four-star establishment. However, my experience there starkly contradicted this classification. Key amenities that were lacking included a functional bar, a reliable internet connection crucial for business activities, and access to international TV channels.
I raised these issues with the hotel's front desk manager on the 22nd of November. Despite acknowledging these shortcomings, there has been no subsequent action or response from the hotel management, even after repeated promises to address my concerns. This lack of response is not only disappointing but also undermines the trust I place in the accommodations booked through your platform.
I honestly feel rather humiliated not only by the low level of this hotel establishment but more, by the lack of basic manners to answer my emails after three written promises that a manager will do this accordingly.
I assure you that I am escalating this matter to the French tourism authorities as this hotel, by French law, should never be advertised as 4 stars.
I collected sufficient evidence to back up my review and I will send it you upon request
