Hotel Nouvel

"Historic hotel near the Rambla; walking distance to historic sites; art deco interior; large room with nice bathroom. No mini bar or any drinks available in the room except one bottle of water; thin towels. Could use a little updating on the fixtures but pleasant. Staff had an attitude at first; then became friendlier."

"I have mobility problems and the staff were very helpful and made sure I had a room with a walk-in shower. Bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was good. The room was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and I enjoyed the coffee, fresh melon, croissants and bread. There was also a selection of cold meats and cheese. Hotel location is right on La Rambla, so it was easy to access many interesting places. I’ve stayed here twice and would stay again."
