Front staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was so good. With the price and the facilities they provide is awesome. Overall I enjoyed the stay. Highly recommend this place for the stay.

I will be contacting Expedia for a full refund. The facility was a dump, not worthy of one star. The room stunk from cigarette smoke, and AC didn't work, nor did the hot water. I tried switching rooms but the front desk said they had no rooms with hot water. Tear this dump down and Expedia should be ashamed to even list this facility.

The mattress was firmer than what I like, not great quality as every time my husband rolled over it woke me up so I was glad we chose two queen beds instead of one king. I don’t know if they had PLANNED on replacing water heaters during our stay, but two days in a row we had to shower in a different room because we had no hot water. Inconvenient for sure. The staff was apologetic. The only issue I have was that if they knew about the water heaters, they should’ve put us in a different room when we first got there. The grounds are nice, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The location is great if you wanna go visit George Washington’s Mount Vernon estate. The quality of the coffee can definitely be improved. The cups for the in room coffee were small so when filling the water to the line and the coffee pot, coffee overflowed onto the counter.

Not bad for the rate.

Overall it was a really good hotel. But some upgrades are required. Carpeting in room was very worn and felt dirty in barefeet, paint peeling on the ceiling in bathtub area and hairdryer was hanging on by a thread. Small things that made it feel not totally comfortable.

We didn't stay there. Mount Vernon had most of its rooms closed for renovation and visiting there was our primary reason for staying. We were disappointed that we couldn't cancel and get a refund.

I recently stayed at the Quality Inn in Alexandria, Virginia. Upon check-in, I was required to pay a $50 security deposit, which I was assured would be refunded upon checkout. However, the transaction was completed, and the hotel now claims they have no record of my reservation. I was shocked to discover such blatant dishonesty, as it feels like outright theft.

The room was great. The whole staff was super nice. Breakfast also great. Only thing is that the outside of the hotel felt unsafe at night. Loitering groups of people at the back of the property and other guests just being load and annoying.

Tv was broken and after switching rooms, the second room had no hot water and had to shower in a third room.
