The hotel is in a great location close to the trams. Rooms are clean but very small. There is a self service breakfast for an additional fee of 17 Euros. Lots of pastries, fruit, meat, cheeses, and scrambled eggs. Chef who served breakfast was not friendly, maybe because the hotel seems short staffed. One day I arrived one hour before breakfast ends, they were out of scrambled eggs and was told he wouldn’t make any more. Overall ok.

Wonderful Hotel.

Upon arrival, I was given a room on the third floor without an elevator. I explained that I couldn't go up or down stairs, and they kindly moved me to a room on the second floor with an elevator. This room is very spacious and bright, with large windows and a balcony. Perfect. I loved it. All the staff were very kind and friendly, helping me whenever I needed it. The lobby is very spacious, comfortable and cozy, and one can spend a pleasant time there. The hotel is very well located and very well connected. The only thing that wasn't optimal was the room cleanliness. It seemed like they only made the bed and didn't clean anything. In fact, they left the already dirty glasses and wet and used towels without replacing them with clean ones. Another thing that wasn't right was that the desk lamp, coffee maker, and kettle had any place to plug, so I couldn't use them. But the bathroom hygiene products, such as shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, shower gel, and body moisturizer, are of excellent quality. Only the toilet paper wasn't up to the same standard. Despite the inconveniences I mentioned, I plan to return to that hotel with my family because I believe those problems can be resolved by talking to the front desk staff. They are all lovely, I really liked them and I loved the hotel. I had a wonderful time there and I felt safe and at home.

Beautiful hotel, conveniently located. Walking distance from several places of interest as well restaurants and caffès and well connected in terms of public transportation. A handwritten note in the room as a welcome is a really nice detail, specially if you’re 7 thousand km away from home

The Perfect Lounge

This hotel has amazing customer service. Perfect location. The British woman at the desk provided top notch service and went above and beyond. The hotel also has one of the most comfortable lounges we have seen and it invites you to hang out. The basement rooms are more humble than the others, but are clean and have lots of style. We would definitely stay at this Hotel V again.

The first room that had been assigned to us was tiny. We struggled to get both of us and 3 suitcases in the room. The room had window aspects on two sides on ground level with badly fitted curtains. The room smelt nasty. We were offered a better room and then upgraded the next day to a bigger room. It was very dark. Awful lighting. Having explained that I was gluten and dairy free, the staff went out of their way to accommodate me. Could not fault the breakfasts.
