This is the second time im staying at The Viv and both times the front desk staff are very unfriendly. They never explain of the amenities available at the hotel or have a welcoming attitude. For example when I checked in, they just asked for my last name for the reservation and a credit card to have on file and just handed the room key. No information about the amenities, the restaurant or the check out time was given. He never told us that there would be a resort fee! I only found out at the check out!! The person that checked me in was more interested about the conversation he was having with his coworker before he had to help me. The next day, when we asked the front desk about the shuttle to Disneyland, same experience. When we asked the lady at front, she had a very cold demeanor. She just said that we had to get tickets through an app. We had to asked around from other people staying at the hotel about how to navigate the app, what bus we had to select, etc. overall very disappointing.

This hotel was nice. The rooms are nice and tidy and clean. The front desk was always available. The only thing I wish they would have told me upfront, which was not a big deal anyways. They had a $25 charge per day. The good news is that if you spend $25 a day in food expenses at two of their restaurants it will credit back $25. Essentially if you spend $25 at the restaurant and charge it to your room they deducted the $25 charge so it’s like you spent the 25 on food. Just not happy that they forced you to spend $25 a day at their hotel.

Ask for a receipt!

This hotel is beautiful but be aware of all of the charges. $50 a day to park and when you check in they tell you that there is a $25 charge but will be credited if you buy food or beverages. Well it’s a crock and they don’t give you the credit if you don’t check your receipt when you leave. The cafe service is HORRIBLE. I have never seen such poor customer service in my life. 4 people working in the little cafe/coffee shop and no napkins in any of the napkin holders, my muffin was frozen solid. The rooms are beautiful but you can find something just as nice and closer to Disneyland so save yourself some disappointment.
