The space

Encircled by neoclassical architecture and winding ancient streets, there lies the first area, of the city of Athens. Plaka, a 10 minute walk from the Acropolis, known as "Neighborhood of the Gods’ is the oldest and most picturesque neighborhood of the ancient city.
Within the archaeological sites, residential areas, and ancient markets, there lies an exclusive hidden residence, Aerides Luxury Suites.

Encompassed by a historical building of the 1800’s, Aerides Luxury Suites is adjacent to the ancient Roman Market & the world’s first meteorological station, adopting its moniker from the antique monument.

The exclusive property was originally constructed of natural materials such as Pentelic marble; the material used to build the most beautiful architectural creation the world has seen, the Parthenon, dedicated to the Goddess Athena.

However ancient the property’s exterior may be, the interior is equally contemporary. A romantic, harmonious marriage of luxury and modern amenities, equipped with a living area, large kitchen, fully equipped with all appliances; three large bedrooms, including a master and ensuite.

Perhaps one of the property’s most impressive characteristics is its large balcony and spectacular views. Situation exceptionnelle et cachĂ© de l’appartement magnifique

Belle dĂ©couverte, emplacement idĂ©al pour dĂ©couvrir AthĂšnes Ă  la fois proche de tous les sites Ă  visiter et de superbe restaurant mais aussi calme. L’appartement trĂšs jolie, beaucoup de cache, 3 belles chambres, lumineux, belle terrasse et une vue exceptionnelle sur l’Acropole ! Notre hĂŽte toujours disponible pour rĂ©pondre Ă  nos questions . Rien Ă  redire, peut ĂȘtre juste un peu de poussiĂšre dans certains endroits mais sinon trĂšs propre et belle intention Ă  notre arrivĂ©e avec une corbeille de fruits et de quoi dĂ©jeuner

Grande et belle maison avec de beaux espaces extérieurs, emplacement parfait

La maison est spacieuse, idĂ©alement placĂ©e Ă  Monastiraki. Communications et accueil trĂšs chaleureux, gĂ©nĂ©reux avec largement de quoi faire les premiers repas, tous les produits d’entretien fournis. Les deux terrasses sont trĂšs agrĂ©ables en octobre, peut ĂȘtre trop chaudes en Ă©tĂ© (vĂ©rifier la prĂ©sence de store ou de parasols). La vaisselle et matĂ©riel de cuisine mĂ©riteraient d’ĂȘtre un peu amĂ©liorĂ©s : plus d’assiettes, plus de couverts, essoreuse Ă  salade,...

The location was in the heart of the tourist area and very safe. Multiple restaurants and lots of shopping right outside the door. The apartment was very spacious. I would suggest booking housekeeping in adavnce or being very clear on the number of guests and number of bath towels needed for the length of stay. We had a little miss communication on that but the issue was quickly resolved by the management company. The view of the Acropolis from the patio was very nice. Overall we would stay here again.

Great location, excellent size, nice breakfast treats, satisfactory beds3 televisions but no instructions on how to use! Included a washing machine but impossible to use as no instructions. Heat did not work at all! Power lost for 6 hours. Showers are awful-no doors preventing water spraying everywhere and terrible shower heads. Insufficient lighting on outside stairs and lose tiles creating a dangerous environment. Key sticks in outdoor lock making removal difficult. Place needs updated and in no way is “luxury.”

The location of this VRBO was amazing! But unfortunately that was pretty much the only good thing about our stay. The “washer and dryer” listed in the amenities is not true. There is only a dryer, although apparently that is listed in the description somewhere (per the owner) but I was not able to find it. We also found a cockroach which made us very uncomfortable with our luggage being in the house. The owner did say they were sending out an exterminator the next day which was after we were gone so that did not really help us at all. Also the host did let us drop off our luggage 2 hours early from check in to accommodate us which was great but the women who let us in told us that the wine was available to us and at half price. Although, when checking out they charged us more than what the full price for the bottle was listed as. Lastly, if you are wanting privacy I would not book here. They have cameras throughout the kitchen, patio, and possibly more which felt like an invasion of privacy. It is typical to have them on the outside of the residence but I do find it uncomfortable and weird to have them inside the house, I have never seen that before at a VRBO. I do have to say the owner was quick to respond and address questions but did say they “highly doubt” they’re concierge told us the wine of half off when telling her 3 out of the 6 of us were in the room and heard her say that. Caution with booking this.

Location,location, location! This is a fantastic, central location for all the tourist activity in Athens as well as plenty of lovely bars and restaurants. However when you're inside the apartment, it's quiet, peaceful and spacious. A great, well equipped kitchen and beautiful terracotta overlooking the acropolis was excellent for dining with the kids for at least some of our meals. Highly recommended.

Stop searching, you found it!

We are a family of four with two teens. This apartment was perfect for us. Plenty of room, comfortable, ideal location, and lovely management team. We planned to hit the grocery store first thing for some basics, but there was no need. There was already fruit, milk, yogurts, water, etc in the fridge. That was huge for me!! It really is as amazing as the photos in the listing. The restaurant below the apartment is great; we dined in their outdoor seating three times and really enjoyed the food and the staff.

Fantastic property and exceptional experience!

I would give this property 6 stars if I could! The location was unbeatable and the hosts were fantastic and really went above and beyond. The apartment was pre-stocked with some food and water, and the check-in process was seamless. Abdi provided excellent service. The hosts were also extremely responsive. We had many flight delays and cancellations that made our first days in Athens chaotic, and Xenia was so responsive and helpful. This property has my highest recommendation.

Wow! Amazing apartment just as described. The owner/property manager (Michael/Xenia) were fantastic to work with and responded quickly to any questions we had. (My flights were late by 24 hours) so I had lots of communication with them and they were excellent! They also had stocked some light breakfast items for us which was a lifesaver. Abdi who helped check us in was also wonderful ! The apartment is 5-10 minute walk to the base of the Acropolis and lots of cute shops and restaurants all close by. Highly recommend this apartment!

Wonderful stay! Xenia was incredibly helpful and responsive prior to our stay and Abdi was welcoming and friendly during our stay. Would not hesitate to return to this property. An amazing time in Athens!

We had an amazing stay in Athens. Our accomodation was everything we hoped for. We felt very cared for prior to our stay, during check in and with the queries we had during our stay. Check out was easy. Nothing was too much trouble. The apartment was beautiful - spacious and tastefully decorated. The beds were so comfortable, and wow - the view - absolutely stunning! We had to keep pinching ourselves that we were looking at the Acropolis from our balcony!Everything was so close - we had many walks and found lots of different parts of Athens. Our hosts recommended a play to see, just minutes from the apartment - which we did on the last night. We mentioned Aerides and got front row seats and a blanket! Highly recommend Aerides for your stay in Athens.

Exceptional Property Excellent Location.

This spacious suite offers spectacular views of the city from every balcony & terrace . Located in the heart of Plaka neighborhood. Friendly people. Pictures of apartment do not do it justice. It was gorgeous and much better than we expected. We were all very comfortable. I would highly recommend this gem to everyone who wants close proximity (walking) to all restaurants, shopping and of course to all the ancient ruins and museums.

Amazing location

We had a fantastic time at this property, the location can’t be beat! We were able to walk to all of the major sites in Athens. I can’t say enough about how easy it made things, to have it as our home base while exploring. The hosts were great and responsive, the apartment has everything you could want. They included a stocked fridge and some snacks which were great to have after a long flight there. We really enjoyed the view from the balcony, and now have such great memories of long talks at night with great wine staring up at the Acropolis! Priceless!

Awesome apartment

Stayed with family: husband and wife, and three children aged between 14 and 20. Great apartment with very spacious living room and incredible balcony just blocks from the acropolis. Could not get a better location in Plaka. Highly recommend this welllayes out and clean apartment.

Perfect location!

We all enjoyed our stay. We found it to be in a great location to restaurants and the place we were going. Highly recommended. We had a very pleasant surprise from the owner of basic breakfast food and fruit which allowed for us to have a quick meal before our excursions. So appreciated!
