Inside, the heated mattress topper cradles you in warmth, and the panoramic windows frame everâchanging mountain views that make every moment feel grounded and serene.
Sleeping arrangements
The dome sleeps two guests in a king bed, positioned to capture the sunrise and the evening glow. A single bathroom offers a full shower and bathroom essentials, keeping you comfortable without stepping into the cold.

A compact kitchen space includes the basics you need to prepare simple meals and snacks. Brew coffee in the morning or enjoy a relaxed dinner after exploring the trails, then settle back into the dome for a quiet night in.
Outdoor living
Step onto the private deck to soak in the hot tub yearâround, especially magical when steam mingles with the mountain air. The fire pit creates a natural gathering spot for evenings under the stars, and the surrounding backyard blends seamlessly with the 37âacre nature preserve. Free parking and a private entrance make arrivals and departures effortless.
Setting & surroundings
Serenity Base is part of the Cooper Mountain retreat, with two other domes nearby but your own deck, hot tub, and fire pit reserved for your stay. The dome âs design embraces the outdoors, so you may notice occasional leaves, pollen, or small insectsâparticularly in early spring and summerâbut regular cleaning keeps the space welcoming.
Exploring the area
Within about 20 minutes you can reach hiking trails, fishing spots, hunting areas, lake swimming, and whiteâwater rafting. After a day of adventure, returning to the domeâs warmth feels especially rewarding.

We loved staying here. We wanted to experience the luxe dome. It exceeded all our expectations. The bed was so comfortable and being able to look out at the night sky and the dawn while still laying there was so restful. The company was so helpful. We had an issue with the hot tub. They had a maintenance man there the next day. We received correspondence from them concerning our stay giving recommendations and asking if any problems. We were very impressed with their professionalism. We had picked this area because we wanted to do a little leaf peeping and to ride the Potomac Eagle. We plan to definitely come back. Only considerations just know there is only a small refrigerator so maybe have a cooler if have a lot of food that needs to be cold.
Perfect for relaxing and escaping the stresses of everyday life. Comfortable, clean, and very accommodating for our needs. Host Tony was excellent with quick responses to my questions. Even people who live on Coopers Mtn welcomed us as they drove by us as we walked. Out stay at Serenity Base met all our expectations!
We are adventurous foody travellers. And this place was just what we needed after a two day long trip of outdoor adventures. We coukdnt have asked for a better private, remote, and beautiful place in the lap.of mother nature. Absolutely Mesmerizing and Relaxing. Dont think twoce...Go for ahead and BOOK IT !
My husband and i shared our honeymoon here together. It was perfect! The owner was so wonderful and the place is super special. We were looking for a relaxing place to stay in the mountains and couldn't have asked for a better time.Being able to lay in bed and view the stars was so great. We were lucky enough to see the meteor shower from the hot tub. Normally when we stay at a place the grill is gross and not usable...but here it was not the case and we got to grill an amazing meal using local food. When i searched for places in the area to stay this was one of the first that popped up and it was so unique that we had to go. Thanks for an amazing stay! We will be back and many of our friends are excited to check it out, too!
