Welcome to your Charming East Austin Retreat!

Whether you're a nomad circumventing the earth, in town for a festival, business, or moving to town and needing a temporary place while you find the perfect apartment...all are welcome. Sua Casinha is here to enhance your Austin experience.
This two-story house has 3 rooms, each with incredibly comfortable memory foam beds.

The Space:
Three Bedroom house with Backyard.
Bedroom 1: Queen bed
Bedroom 2: Single Beds with work desk
Bedroom 3: Queen bed and recliner and ensuite bathroom

Fully Equipped Kitchen, Laundry Room.

Relaxing Backyard with string lights for relaxing night time ambiance.

The Neighborhood:
Located just half a mile from Austin's best kept secret...the Sahara Lounge... where you will find live music 6 nights a week. Brazilian Samba and Forro, Blues, Rock, African, Country, Swing, Funk, list goes on... One of Austin's true must see places.
We are also just 3 miles east of UT Campus, Downtown and 2 miles from the Mueller neighborhood where you will find a restaurants, bars, shopping centers and large grocery store.
Closer to home you will find a convenient store, a bbq restaurant, neighborhood store and a laundromat.

Getting Around:
There is plenty of parking in front of the house or off street as well. You can also get around town via Uber, Lyft, Car2go, RideAustin, and Fasten.
Another personal favorite of mine is Turo (the airbnb of cars).

Host returned valuable jewelry and search for me to return it!

I'm not usually one to leave a review, but Carlos really went above and beyond to return lost valuables to me. During my stay I had lost an expensive (and sentimental) ring. I assumed I had lost it while out in Austin because I searched everywhere in the house. I gave up and chalked it up as lost. Nearly 10 months after my stay, Carlos called me to let me know he had found a ring he thought belonged to me. The ring only had my last name inscribed on the inside, so he went above and beyond to find my contact information. He even mailed it to me at zero cost! I'm in disbelief that the ring was returned to me as it could have easily been pawned for a considerable amount of cash. The property itself was great and comfortably slept our entire group. It's within a quick uber to anywhere within Austin, and I will certainly be staying here again when I return. Thanks Carlos! You're one hell of host.
