Close enough to downtown without the price tag
I stayed here one night to be close enough to downtown that Uber wouldn’t be too expensive, but I also didn’t have to use valet parking or otherwise pay for parking. I felt safe, I felt like my vehicle was safe. The bed was comfortable, & I got a decent shower before I checked out. I didn’t have breakfast, but it smelled great! Staff I interacted with were professional & kind.

Very friendly staff on check-in. The room was recently refurbished and very comfortable. We didn't come down in time for breakfast but it sounded good. There was still coffee available which made my wife happy. There is an abandoned house or two across the street on the corner where homeless people gathered. I know the hotel cannot do anything about that, don't let it scare you away, it is Austin. The houses further down the street had obviously been updated, so it's in a generally good neighborhood.

overall a nice cozy stay while i enjoyed some concerts. yummy breakfast and everything you could ask for! like a gym, indoor pool, laundry, and vending! i would 100% stay here again.
