There are many eateries, shopping centers, sightseeing places, historic museums and fun places nearby. This house has the fully fenced front and back yards. This will give the guests the additional privacy and security. There is a public park with a food truck at the left front corner of the house (50 yards away). You can check it out during the stay.
The layouts of the house are: 1. 1st floor: master bedroom with spacious closet, a queen size bed and a medium firm super comfortable mattress, two night stands, two lamps and a ceiling fan. 2. A full bathroom with a standing shower right next to the master bedroom. 3. A utility room with brand new washer and dryer is next to the master bathroom. 4. A fully equipped kitchen with SS appliances and all the cooking utensils. Plenty of storage spaces available. Beautiful quartz counter top and six bar chairs in the kitchen center island/dining area. 5. The Living room and kitchen with open floor concept. The Living room area has a convertible leather sleeper couch with a matching leather loveseat, a coffee table that can be raised up as an office desktop, a ceiling fan, a TV stand and a 60 inches modern smart TV. A half bathroom is located in the kitchen/Living room area. There is one car garage(front entry) attached to the house. 6. 2nd floor comes with two private bedrooms and walk-in closets. Each bedroom has a night stand, a lamp, and a ceiling fan, a queen size bed and a very comfortable mattress. 7. A full bathroom with a bathtub/standing shower between the two bedrooms. 8. There is a door leads you to the balcony and deck areas. A set of coffee furniture (three chairs and a table) and the outdoor dining furniture (fits for eight guests) are provided. 9. The spiral staircase will take you to the rooftop deck, where you will have spectacular skyline views of Downtown Austin. The comfortable outdoor furnitures are set up for the guests to enjoy. 10. Front yard oasis with a swim spa pool&hot tub for the guests to enjoy. Please follow the spa rules.
This house can comfortably sleep eight people. Three private bedrooms with queen size beds, and one queen size sleeper couch in the Living room.
Additional house rules: 1. Only non-shedding hypoallergenic dog allowed if you decide to bring your furry friend. Please disclose it and make the dog fee payment during booking. There will be $200/dog/stay fee charge. Any unauthorized dog(s) will be charged $500/dog/day. Please bring the dog beds, craters, dog food and supplies with you during the stay, and also please donât let the dogs on the furniture or beds. If there is evidence of dog hairs or stains on the beddings and furnitures, there will be extra $300 deep cleaning fees charged. Please clean after your dogs. If the excessive mess created by the dog, there will be extra $300 deep cleaning fee involved. Absolutely no shedding dog allowed, the homeowner is severely allergic to dog hairs, the dog hairs will trigger the homeowner asthmatic attack, if there is evidence of the shedding dog brought into the property, there will be $1000 fine, and the host has the right to terminate the reservation immediately without any refunds.
2. Please respect the neighbors. If you are at the balcony, deck or rooftop, please keep the noise volume low, and keep the music at the reasonable low volume. No large outdoor gatherings at the 2nd floor deck and rooftop deck during the quiet hours (10pm-07am). Any noise complaints from the neighbors could result losing the security deposit.
3. Please donât litter the beer cans or any trash at the alley in front of the house, neighborsâ properties and our property. No smoking allowed inside the home. If you smoke outside, please clean after yourself. Please donât left the cigarette butts in the yard or burn the turf at the front yard. Otherwise the travelers have to pay the replacement cost ($500). Each littered cigarette butt found in the yard, will be charge $30 cleaning fees by the cleaners.
4. Please park at the designated areas (one at the driveway and the other one in the garage). Please donât park the LARGE vehicle in the garage (such as van, SUV; or pickup truck), the traveler will be solely responsible for any damages to the garage, garage door and the vehicle during the stay. The damage repair expenses will be directly billed to the travelerâs security deposit and the VRBO payment method. Please donât park at the alley access in front of the house or along the neighborsâ property curbsides. Please donât leave the rented scooters, motorbikes at the alley access or next to the neighborsâ houseâs curbsides. The Alley access is for the emergency vehicles and garbage trucks only. It is illegal to block the alley access per City of Austin Code department.
5. NO party allowed at the property. if there is any evidence of the partying at the property, there will be $600 fine applied, and the travelers could face eviction in the worst case scenario.
6. If the excessive mess/trash/stains created by the travelers, there will be extra $300 cleaning fee charge.
7. Please be accurate with the traveler counts, so I can provide you with the bedding supplies, towels and the other stuff during your stay correctly. Please pay the $50/traveler/night fees after the initial six travelers to cover the basic expenses during booking. Any unauthorized traveler would be charged $300/person/night.
8. The travelers will be solely responsible for any damages, personal injuries, lost or stolen items occurred during the stay. Please let me know if you notice any issues of the property, I will get them fixed as soon as possible.
9. There are outdoor monitors at the property to protect the travelers and propertyâs safeties. No indoor monitors installed. So the travelers have full privacy and peace during the stay. Please donât unplug any devices in the property. If the is any evidence of the guests tampering the outdoor security monitors, there will be $500 fine applied. We usually donât review the outdoor security monitors unless there is an issue reported. If you are the rowdy and partying group, this home is not good fit for you. We will strictly reinforce the quiet hours rules and spa rules.
10. If the travelers use the swim spa pool, please be aware that you would be fully responsible for the risks. No life guard on duty, no diving, running and jumping at the deck and spa pool. Please keep the swim spa covers on at ALL the time if itâs not actively used by the travelers. Otherwise the travelers have to be solely responsible for the additional energy cost($50/hour to maintain the ideal temperature), water contamination and potential spa pool damages. No glassware in or near the spa pool area, $300 fines will be applied if violate this rule, furthermore the travelers have to be fully responsible for the potential spa pool damages and (or) personal injuries (such as cuts or lacerations) caused by the broken glassware. Kids under age 18 must be supervised by the adults. If you have heart disease, hypertension, stroke, alcohol or drug usage that affect your ability to function normally and pregnancy, please consult with your doctor first, and the travelers will be solely responsible for any adverse outcomes. No spa pool usage during quiet hours (10pm-7am) and inclement weather conditions (such as raining, lightning, thunderstorms, snowstorms and hurricanes). There will be $300 fine per violation.
11. No smoking and illegal drug usages in and near the spa pool areas, there will be extra $300 cleaning fees for the noncompliance.
I want to make your stay as memorable and enjoyable as possible. Please follow the house rules and the spa rules.
Please replace the spa pool covers soon after each usage, the guests will be responsible for $50/hour extra heating fees for the noncompliance.
No unauthorized party or event allowed. The primary booker must present at the home during the stay. Or the reservation will be canceled (no refunds).
Please donât throw the spa covers on the ground, guests will be responsible for the damage. Only guests on the reservation are allowed to use the spa.

Swede Hill is exactly as pictured. Family friendly, clean and close to all that Austin has to offer. There is a food park just steps away. Wenjie and Sue were amazing hosts! Very hospitable, generous, and quick to respond to questions. I would definitely recommend this home.
Hot tub is huge, well maintained, and so easy to use. Great amenity.Location is fantastic. Easy walk to DKR Memorial or Disch-Faulk and other UT facilities. And the food truck plaza across the alley is a huge bonus. Tacos at Cuantos Tacos or Ensanada are excellent. And can't say enough about the outside decks. Nice places to hand with friends and the rooftop has great views of downtown. And, if you don't want to wait in line at Franklins, you can preorder and the BBQ will still be hot when you get back because it's only a couple of blocks to transport.
The spot was perfect for our small work retreat. We had great spaces to work and collaborate together from the kitchen island to the second story and rooftop decks. Then we were able to unwind in the pool in the evening. The proximity to the delicious food tricks was a nice bonus. Our host was incredibly accommodating and made sure we were good the whole way through. She was incredibly responsive and left detailed instructions from booking to checking out. Great experience.
Cute, clean, comfortable, well-equipped house. Walking distance to downtown. Big hot tub and amazing porches. The top porch provides beautiful view of Austin sky-line. Hungry? No problem, food trucks just across the lane. My family truly enjoyed our stay. Extra bonus, the host is very accommodating, friendly and communicative. Can't wait for my next stay!
Our host was very responsive and the place was clean. That is very important. They had complimentary snacks and beverages which is very kind. The place is also next door to a food truck compound which is very convenient.

Very Good Place to stay. Had very great experience there. Close drive to DT Austin, and Good restaurants are near by. Rooms, Kitchen and Bathrooms are very clean and have sufficient amenities.

This property was a fantastic home base for a guys trip to Austin. Very close to 6th street, Franklin's BBQ and steps away from a food truck park. The communication with the host was always pleasant and they gave so many great tips on fun things to do. The property itself was very well kept and clean. Definately reccomend this place! Cant say enough about how nice it was. 5 stars all the way.
This home is truly a hidden gem! It was very clean, spacious and comfortable and was in a great location. We enjoyed the roof top patio and the view of Austin at night. The swim spa was also very relaxing. The home was walking distance to Franklins BBQ, (which is fabulous), as well as some really great brunch restaurants. The area is quiet yet you are minutes to downtown. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would love to stay in this home when we return to Austin to visit. Wenjie (the host) is amazing. She was very responsive and provided information on activities for families, restaurants, attractions, etc⊠the welcome drinks and snacks were also a very nice touch. Highly recommend this home if you plan a trip to Austin!

Wenjie was great and loved the house. It is big and well laid out exactly as shown online. Nice neighborhood with trees, birds et al but still close to cool areas. Canât say enough about the setup, communication and experience.Well done Wenjie!

Great property, clean, nice bedrooms. Has an awesome roof top deck and back yard with large hot tub! Relaxing on the top deck and looking at downtown was a nightly activity.
We felt like this was a perfect hidden gym as a sanctuary away from the madness of SXSW! The space did have a limit on the amount of people we could have visit at one time, but for us to be honest, that was a blessing! Itâs definitely not a party house, but we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and would definitely consider This space again!
Perfect house for our stay. This was our first trip to Austin, it was overwhelming to decide where to stay. This house was in a great location, easy access to every area we wanted to visit. The food truck park across the street was nice to have for late night snacking. We used the rooftop patio daily and the hot tub was in perfect working condition and clean. Our host Wenjie had the house thoughtfully stocked with essentials and some snacks and beverages so we didn't need to run to the grocery store as soon as we arrived. There was even a birthday cake in the fridge for our son who was turning 21. We have stayed in dozens of vacation rentals and this was the best experience I've had with a host. Very responsive, easy instructions and gracious. Getting around: We thought we would walk to most areas of downtown but found it was just as easy to drive to our destination and find parking on the street. (Which was never a problem) Neighborhood: Was quiet and easy to get to. Grocery stores and a Target not too far away. Close to some night spots we wanted to visit. Food truck park right out the back door, never loud and super fun. House: Very clean and nicely stocked. Loved the roof top patio! Very clean and great views. We used the hot tub which was in perfect condition. Everything worked in the house, lots of seating in the living area. Comfortable to hang out in. Recommend to anyone staying in the downtown area of Austin!
While visiting our Longhorn for his birthday we stayed at this charming house. This was our second stay. We love the hot tub spa and the garden was heavily used. Right next door is an amazing food truck area that we went to several times. For our purposes, this house is in the best location close to UT, amazing restaurants, the airport, and super easy access to highway 35.
