This beautifully decorated 1 bedroom, 1 bath apartment is located at the top of the wine castle at Villa del Sol. The suite has what you want in a romantic, cozy, private getaway for a long weekend or weeks at a time. Relax and toast another day while watching our Texas sun set over the hill country! Part of an Italian style estate, separated from the main house with private entry, the apartment suite is decorated with unique accessories, colorful art and best of all, incredible views of the sunset, hill country and main basin of Lake Travis. Only 19 minutes to Downtown Austin and 1 minute to mouth watering margaritas at The OASIS! The best bedroom view on the lake! Approximately 15 steep brick steps up to the front door.
Owner allows one small to medium size dog. Property has a very small grass area for dogs. Road the property is on is very curvy, not ample for walking.

It was perfect. Unbelievable view of the lake and just the right size for a couples get away. Great location right next to the famous Oasis and just a stones throw from Steiners Ranch. Highly recommended!

This castle was such a treat! It’s absolutely beautiful and the grounds were spectacular! We really enjoyed our weekend getaway here just relaxing and taking in the amazing views. The castle was very comfortable and clean. It had everything we needed for our stay. Easy check in and out. We will definitely be back!

What a wonderful property! The view alone is worth it. Very quiet and comfortable stay. Check in and check out was a breeze. The welcome basket is awesome as well as coffee provided. You can tell that the property is well attended and that you the guest are not an after thought. I can definitely recommend this stay- you will not be disappointed!

Magical place!

This apartment is exactly as described. Private and peaceful setting. The views are breathtaking. The bed was very comfortable with a lot of bedding and pillow. options. Communication with Elise was great. Kitchen was stocked well for cooking. Our AC stop working but they fixed it almost immediately! We will definitely be back!

The perfect vacation destination!

My wife and I recently stayed at Villa del Sol for a Formula 1 race weekend. When arrived on site we were welcomed by Beau, the owner, designer, and builder of what can only be described as a modern day castle. He walked us up and gave us a tour of the property with the most breath taking lake and cityscape views.Villa del Sol is also pet friendly so we brought the pups as well! They provide a small grassy area with plenty of nearby paths and parks for the dogs. Elise (Beau’s niece) who runs the property was also in contact with us regularly making sure we had everything we needed, including a welcoming bottle of champagne and all sorts of treats. The property is right on Lake Travis and is only 25 minutes from downtown Austin, we loved it so much we even stayed an extra day, which they were very accommodating. Needless to say we didn’t want to leave and would highly recommend staying here! We will certainly be back! Thank you again for a wonderful unforgettable vacation and stay!

Castle on Lake Travis

My husband and I really enjoyed staying at this property. The castle is situated perfectly on Lake Travis. The view from the top tower is incredible! And it is right next to Oasis Restaurant if you need a quick bite. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend!

Incredible!

Absolutely fantastic view. We also loved the interior design and decor, including the carpet which had been updated since the listing photos.The internet was temporarily not working during our stay, but we enjoyed our vacation from the internet. We plan to return to this unit again. One thing to note is this unit does not have a dishwasher. That was not a problem for me since I brought mine from home (the little lady, lol).
