Fantastic location in the heart of the city ! All the restaurants and shopping area are right here doorstep. Communication with the property managers was fast and effective. They were very responsive. The nightly light shows at Casa Battloâ were an awesome side benefit, we never stopped watching it and enjoyed the fantastic view every single day. The central location gave us the ability to go out to see the sites come back, relax for an hour or so to re-energize before heading out again to dinner on a nightly basis. There were a number of small markets within a short walk to get your daily supplies if you just wanted to have a snack at the apartment. We ate out every night at the great restaurants, so never challenged ourselves to make a meal at the apartment, although Iâm sure you can accomplish it if needed. But with so many great restaurants at your doorstep we took advantage of as many as we could. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Iâm sure in the summertime this place must be amazing when the weather is much warmer and you could take advantage of the awesome balcony to enjoy nightly drinks on. A view no other apartments could replicate !!
We were totally impressed by the apartment's location and the view at night. Check in was smooth and property manager was very nice and helpful with providing guidance and suggestions.
Cons: first night after two people took shower, there was no hot water. My husband waited in cold shower for minutes and had to gave up. Called the "24-hr" number and nobody answered the phone nor called back on 2nd day. It turned out that the water heater needs long time to work.
Minor issue: couch and beds are not in good quality. We moved to a cheaper apt (~250 euros per night) later in the same neighborhood and the beds were in premium quality.
I will reiterate all of the positives called out in the other reviews - great location, fantastic view, comfortable beds, great communication with management prior to arrival, etc. etc. Only have a few minor negatives.. we could not get the oven to work- I think it requires 'unlocking' somehow, but it'd be nice if there were instructions in the apartment. The one sofa bed couch is extremely uncomfortable to sit on.. after walking all day it'd be nice to relax on a comfy couch (the blue couch is fine - just the sofa bed that needs to be switched out). The wifi password is incredibly long/complicated. Not a huge deal until you've tried entering it multiple times and still somehow manage to screw it up. Lastly, the cleanliness of the floors upon arrival were not up to my standards (I list a property on VRBO as well). If management can make those couple simple updates- this place would be a 15/10. All things considered, we had a lovely time and are definitely glad we chose to stay here.
Tolle Lage, toller Blick, sauber.
Nicht so gut: keine vernĂŒnftige Kaffeemaschine, keine TrockentĂŒcher, keine AblageflĂ€che im Bad, wackeliges Waschbecken.
Insgesamt aber gut!
We loved our stay in this great apartment. It was clean, plenty of space and the view is amazing. Also in a good location with close walk to Pl Catalunya.
Could not say anything bad about our stay at the Paseo de Gracia Apartment. The communication with habitat apartments was seamless and the representative who checked us into the apartment was professional, on time and very accomodating.
The apartment was very clean throughout and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.
THE VIEW! I can't say enough about how breathtaking the view of Casa Batllo is (especially when it is all lit up at night). We would often spend our evenings sharing wine and a snack prior to going to dinner.
We found that some of the highest rated restaurants and bars were in the area, roughly a 5-10 minute walk from the apartment. It is very close to Placa Catalunya, La Rambla, Gothic Quarter, etc. Also, the Passeig de Gracia metro station is steps from the door if you are wanting to visit other parts of the city, we found the metro extremely convenient and easy to use.
I would recommend this apartment to anyone planning to visit Barcelona!
Had a great stay in a great location. The apartment was spacious ad well accommodated. Everything went very smooth. The clothes dryer really did not work and there is minimal hot water. Other than that it was perfect.
