Wintery Cottage in the Berkshires! Dog friendly, Hot Tub, Hiking, Shopping, Dine

720 Sq. Ft, 2 Bed, 1 Bath cottage with HOT TUB amongst the forest located in a private, dirt road, lake community with neighborhood general store/cafe.

There are 2 bedrooms and a pull-out couch in the living room. Cottage sleeps 4-6 comfortably. Could fit 7 total if children. Pack-and-Play with sheets available for use.

Private canoe located at the boat launch area on the opposite side of Robin Hood Lake. *Property does not have lake views.* Beach area is almost a mile walking distance from cottage. Just a 4 minute drive to beach access area. Enjoy walking the neighborhood!

The cottage has everything you need to unplug and enjoy nature with the convenience of close proximity to Appalachian Trail hiking, Jacob's Ladder Scenic Byway, Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, historic downtown Lee for shopping/dining, Tanglewood Music Center, downtown Stockbridge and Norman Rockwell Museum all within 30 minutes. Mt. Greylock is 1 hour north.

Cozy living room with pull out couch and oversized chair stocked with various games and books for the whole family to enjoy.

Small kitchen with regular size refrigerator, apartment size stove/oven, microwave, coffee pot, crockpot, blender, toaster, utensils, pots/pans.

Master bedroom at back of house with Queen bed, small desk for any telecommuting and sliding doors leading out to the private patio with hot tub.

Large front bedroom with a twin over full size bunk bed. Bottom bunk is futon bed.

Both bedrooms will be stocked with extra linens, blankets and pillows.

Full bathroom with tub. House stocked with extra towels for hot tub & beach use. No laundry onsite, but laundry bags provided!

Parking in driveway alongside of house can fit 2-3 cars. Lighted entry way and deck area with sitting area on deck. Completely private wooded back yard with firepit, picnic area and outdoor griddle.

2 dogs max. are welcome! Please message host with type of dog/s. Dog bowls, bed, toys, poop bags provided in case you forget!

Sherwood Shoppe, a cafe and country store, is located near the beach/boat launch area (4 min drive) for general merchandise, beer, wine, liquor, dine-in or take-out. Open Tue-Sunday 8AM-7PM. (Kitchen closes at 6 pm)

My wife and I wanted a quick get away in the Berkshires with our dog and this property couldn't have been more perfect. The house was wonderful, clean, cozy, and had everything we needed from towels, to kitchen utensils and appliances, to smart TVs. The location is set back in the woods in an already very quiet town, giving plenty of peace, quiet, and privacy. The hot tub was the highlight of the stay. The host is excellent with communication and was eager to be of assistance if needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property for a quiet and peaceful escape.

Very quiet quaint relaxing vacation rental.Perfect for a lowkey relaxed weekend. Lots of cute little touches. You can tell the hosts put some heart into the decor. The lot is a corner lot so you get the privacy and seclusion you might not see in other rentals in the forest. And i always love a well maintained hot tub I will say the hosts are very responsive and friendly. If you have questions asks, you will get a quick and helpful answer.Sherwood Forest is definitely a place you would need your time to get your bearings and you cannot fully trust your gps. We were able to find 3 of the beaches, could we find them again? Probably not lol. But if you take the time you could certainly enjoy finding the hidden gems. I would highly recommend visiting Sherwood Shoppe. We ran down there to grab some basic items and the woman cashing out infront of us was telling the owner she had to get a breakfast sandwich because it was the best one she ever had. So we had to try it. And she wasnt lying. Worth the wait and every penny. Had we stayed longer i could have ate one every day. The owners were also super friendly.

My boyfriend and I loved our stay at the cottage. Nicole was very easy to communicate with. The house was cozy and had everything we needed. Even though it rained all weekend, the hot tub and games made up for it. Thank you, Nicole! Can't wait to come back!

Winter Family Getaway

My wife, two kids, and chocolate lab spent a few days at the cottage to enjoy the snow and hot tub. Everything was set up exactly as described and Nicole was very friendly and proactive. We had a great time and would do it again

Cozy, scenic, relaxing!

My husband and I live in a super urban area that's lively year round. We were in desperate need of a getaway in the mountains and a quiet place to decompress. This little cottage was perfect for our winter reset. My husband used the space to relax, work, cook and take walks with our dogs around the property on the snowy roads. The cottage was only 30 minutes from the world renowned Kripalu yoga retreat center, which I went to on a day trip, and the cottage was a perfect home base to travel there and back. The place is fully stocked, extremely warm, the jacuzzi was super clean and fun, and we enjoyed how easy it was from booking to discussing check-out. Thanks Nicole and family! Cant wait to come back again!

Weekend with friends

Very clean house, smooth access and well stocked kitchen. Great place for me and some friends to have a mini reunion and go to Tanglewood. My dog loved it too! Hot tub was great.

My stay at the cabin

Absolutely loved it. Perfect getaway when the city is too noisy. Awesome location in the woods surrounded by nothing but forest. If you plan on staying outside in the hot tub, maybe get one of those bug repellent tiki torches however i got no other complaints. Maybe a tv in the adult bedroom? Anyway good kitchen good bathroom good living room good bedroom for adults good room for children. If youre looking to get away, there isnt anything wrong in picking this place if you desire a forest get away within driving distance of some good local eats and markets.
