Room was definitely less than expected. Chose an upgraded room that no matter which direction one would turn, something was broken. Bathroom heating light - one out, 110 outlet on lamp - broken, multiple USB connector was falling off desk, office chair - broken, desk drawer - broken, No plug for people using C PAP, trash cans had trash in them, One only tissue in tissue box, So you can tell that it is NOT a good place to stay. We moved out in 3 days and went to another hotel for remaining stay in town. Reception couldn't help to notice that I immediately took luggage from the car inside only to learn that we were not staying in that building. Handicap access required climbing stairs. Breakfast room is lacking in freshly cooked food. DONE - DONE. Was once used for homeless folks. Now I am done.

They refused to give my money back and refused to comply with hotels.com. The hotel was very poorly cleaned, as shown in the photos. I was given three rooms as well. The first one was occupied, the second had hair on the shower wall (as pictured), and the third had large clumps of dust and what looked like corn chips on the floor. I asked for a refund and stayed somewhere else for the night, but they denied my request as well as the attempts from Hotels.com to get my request approved. I spoke to the manager on the phone in the lobby about my experience, and he proceeded to yell at me. It is not acceptable to treat customers like this; obviously, the state of the rooms is not my fault, nor did I think I was being overly picky. I don't usually complain about minor issues, but this was unacceptable.

You’re simply not going to get a better deal anywhere in a more convenient location. The staff are really friendly and attentive and there is absolutely nothing to complain about.

We found animal vomit or maybe poop on our bed foot coverlet. We asked for it to be removed and the room cleaned. The room was never cleaned. There were other issues but those were the biggest

No elevator to upper floor - have to use outside stairs. Dangerous for seniors. Mattresses have plastic covers that are uncomfortable. Hot tub out of service but no notice of this. Minimal breakfast selection. Will not stay again.

Our room was nice and everything was pretty clean. The pool and hot tub were pretty good as well! We did ask for extra blankets and pillows and they only had one blanket and asked me to us a towel as a pillow. So that could be improved. The area is good, the Mexican place across the parking lot was DELICIOUS. Would stay here again.

We stayed at the Wingate by Wyndham in Bellingham on August 30th, 2025 and the room was filthy. The shower had hair and a yellow shumpston's near the drain , floors were dirty, furniture was scratched and worn. Bathroom tiles were cracked with missing grouch, wallpaper was peeling, the bed was old squeaky, and appeared used by previous guests. When we asked to speak with a manager, hoping for a clean room or a reimbursement, she completely seemed indifferent, claimed the hotel was fully booked, abruptly apologize and hung up as if dealing with unhappy customers was a daily Norm. Completely unacceptable .
