My review relates to the almost impossible way Expedia prevents you from cancelling a booking. Tried to cancel within the time period stated, system would not recognise my itinerary number and/or email address. Followed the procedure carefully, no mistakes and still could not make the cancellation. Now charged for a night which was not required. A refund would be helpful.

At least the staff were nice..
Terrible hotel honestly… if it wasn’t for the staff & its location, I’d rate it a 1 star. I paid technically paid appropriately £170.. However I had £70 off hotels.com due to booking so many hotels over time with them. So I actually only paid £100.. & I still only gave it 3stars… staff saved it really, they were all very nice. I’ll tell you this, there are other hotels head & shoulders above this one all within a very short distance away from the airport.. I’ll never stay here again.. in hindsight, I’d rather pay the slightest extra & used the other hotels.. lesson learned I guess

Basic but adequate.
Basic room as expected but perfectly adequate for a one night stay before an early flight. Good use of space. One downside - the pillows were very hard and uncomfortable so had a poor night sleep.

Fair budget experience close to airport & NEC
A fair stay for a convention trip to the NEC. Everything was fine, from the room to the service, although there was no proper desk chair in the room, only a stool, which is not good for doing work on your laptop, I got a terrible back ache from this. Also, the food was okay, but only okay, definitely the sign that you are in a budget hotel. Still, the team were very polite and helpful, offering a luggage store for those who have time to kill between check out and continuing their travels. Still, if I were in the area again and on a budget I would consider this hotel once more 👍

Budget for sure
Having the name “budget” in it is how I would describe this hotel. In our room there were boogies up the wall, the place was so small… my partner is tall and could hardly fit in the toliet/shower. I appreciate its basic and that’s what we paid for but there was no need for uncleanliness. We only were given one pillow and when asking for another it was like we had taken so much time out their day. I would not be staying agai
