Me and my companions were expecting that the our room at La Carmela would have a hotel type of amenities. We were assigned to a top floor and and end of the bldg, and so much is lacking in the room, was it because I availed a promo rate thru Expedia? The hotel service, you have to wait for another 24 hrs to get your requested items. Thankful to the front desk who assisted us, she was very accommodating.

We stayed for 6 days and they only changed the sheets ONCE even though we asked several times. Breakfast menu for the whole stay was the SAME. Intercomm is NOT working Room Aircon is DEFECTIVE Towels & Linens smells MURIATIC ACID TV remote is missing. When we asked for one, they gave one but it also is NOT working

AC wasn’t working, maintenance supposed to come and fix it, but never came. We had to open and use the fridge to get some cold air out! We requested to change beddings and they never came! Terrible room! It’s dirty my mom got sick it was so humid. Would never stay at this hotel ever!
