I have held off on this review because I generally LOVE a Marriott Residence Inn and this one was just not what I am used to. The rooms are set up in separate buildings of 8 units each, with 4 being up steps, no elevator and my unit was in the back, along a main road. I did not enjoy walking to the back of the building and then up steps in the dark. I had to walk to the reception building for breakfast and it was very busy. There was not enough seating for everyone and I ended up carrying my food back to my room. The breakfast was not up to the standards of most Marriott Residence Inns. My actual room was nice, but the exterior of buildings are weathered and could use some TLC. The location to downtown Boulder was very convenient, just a few miles away and an hour from downtown Denver. In the future I'd read the details more closely.

This location is pet, friendly, and encourages patrons to spend time outside of their lovely little areas. We can sit outside and have coffee or a glass of wine. Breakfast service was excellent. Property was well maintained, and it is in an awesome area of the city.

Easy to access. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and comfortable. Very good breakfast options and good food. Parking was troublesome if you came in later in the evening. There was no closet available for formal attire. Had to hang dress and suit over top of bathroom door. Closet rod was about 2 1/2 feet from the floor. Towel racks across the room from the shower. No place to put towel except in the sink or on the floor. Not enough sound barrier between first and second floor. When kids are jumping off beds and running around at 4:00am above you, the noise level was quite loud.

We had a 2/2 property and it was so great. Very spacious, full kitchen that we didn't use but still great, the beds were very comfortable. We appreciate the space to spread out. This more like a 2 bedroom apartment. I do wish it was closer to shops/restaurants - the location wasn't my favorite but the room made up for it. The staff was super nice, breakfast was great, and I even used the laundry facilities which was very convenient. They also offered a well stocked "pantry" where I was able to purchase a bottle of wine and some other items.
