Not Great

The mattress needed to be retired 5 years ago. The entire hotel had a bit of a funky smell. The room was clean enough but there were several cigarette burn marks throughout the room (they didn’t look new) so it was a hotel that allowed smoking at one time which likely is the source of the smell. There wasn’t a blow dryer in the room nor hair conditioner in the shower. Would not recommend.

We were at the end and there were a couple other ppl stay who were loud and our dog is not used to noise so he was on alert all night. We left early since we could not get any sleep.

Dated hotel

This hotel is showing its age. Beds are worn out. Location of sink and shower is inconvenient. No breakfast was offered. The clerk did not point out that we could have avoided tramping through the snow on the side of the building where we parked by driving around to the covered portico on the other side. Most importantly, clerk on check in changed our reservation with Hotels.com to the hotel’s system and increased the price by $19. When I discovered the change upon check out, the hotel claimed that I had changed the reservation from a single room to two queen beds. But the Hotels.com reservation clearly said it was for two queen beds. So the increase was not justified. Would not stay here again.

All was good except the outdoor temp was -25 Celsius. The room was clean and proper but holy smacks was it cold in the room. . If I was camping I would have built a campfire!! Went to bed with two hoodies on as well as two sweat pants and socks. Would ask they keep at least one room heated!!

It's not fancy but is comfortable and clean. Liked how quiet the heater was compared to other hotels. Also appreciated the doggie treat bags! That was a nice touch and generous. Our dogs were quite happy!
