Disappointed again
We were snowmobiling around Quebec Dan Road extra miles. Just so we could stay there and use the spa. When we get there that night, we were so excited to jump in the hot tub and sauna but they informed us that someone was renting it and we could not use it. If we had known, we would have not driven the extra 60 miles on our snowmobile just to stay there and use it. To say we were disappointed is an incredible statement. We had to leave early the next morning so we could not even use it because they said we could not get in till 10 o’clock, but had to check out by 11 o’clock. This was the second time this has happened to us.

First time here
We had a wonderful overnight stay. Perhaps next time we will stay a little longer.
No breakfast options, restaurant was closed for the season. (We checked in end of August)
Sink was clogged and dishes were still wet in the cupboards. Had to wash them all.
It is an immersion in the natural environment of Lac St. Jean. Very nice chalets, with apartments well equipped. A SPA is there too in this complex. An important note: the restaurant on site is open just three days of the week. Better to come with some food to store in the fridge, at least for breakfast.
I have being all around the world and this was the worse reception ever. Reception is closes at 5pm and they only speak French. They charge $30 extra per person for the hot tub and under 18 is not allowed. Swimming pool was drained and Sauna was locked. Wifi was on and off. The only restaurant that delivers here only speak French. It was clean and quiet, but I would NOT recommend this place for anyone. The reception would not provide me extra coffee and all they did was argue.
We went as a big family, we rented 3 rooms. We ended up separated. Next time I'm renting the whole floor 😊 We would have enjoyed it way better if we had been all side by side. But still great experience. Thank you

Chalets & Spa near the water
We had an overall good experience at this place but a rather disappointing experience when we checked-in. The lady who talked to us did not wear a mask and no acrylic protection was installed between the reception desk and guests. When we asked the question, she answered that she did not have to wear a mask because she was 1 meter away from us, which we do not think is allowed in Quebec. But the room was very clean and spacious (dining area, living room and bathroom on 1st floor and beds on the mezzanine). If you have mobility issues, do not select the units with mezzanine because we have to climb steep steps to access it and to go to the bedroom (not much fun during the night to go down to the bathroom). This is located very close to the water, which is great. There is a balcony with furniture facing the water.
