Check-in was quick and easy, and we stayed in the rooms across the street at the Convention Center, where there was plenty of free parking. Our room had two queen beds, cable TV, a microwave, a mini refrigerator, and a single-cup coffee maker. There was also a table with two chairs, which was convenient. Also, an ice machine and coin laundry on second floor. Breakfast was served in the main building, accessible by an underground tunnel. Even though the property is undergoing renovations, the grounds and site were kept clean and well maintained. Breakfast included the usual options: bagels, muffins, toast, yogurt, cereal, a waffle-making station, boiled eggs, tea, coffee, juice, and fruit. My only suggestion would be to add gluten-free options—otherwise, guests with dietary restrictions may want to bring their own breakfast. There is also a pool on site in the main building, although we didn’t check it out during our stay. The location is excellent—you can walk to just about anywhere. The price point was fantastic, and the staff were both friendly and efficient. While the rooms are a little outdated, it’s clear that renovations are underway to improve the space. Overall, this isn’t the Ritz-Carlton, but it had everything we needed at a great value. For the price and location, I’d definitely recommend it!

Dampened our PEI visit,Charlottown Inn website did not show facility in true light. We are seniors in a facility across the street with a tunnel to get to main office ,pool, breakfast We left early didn't even stay fir brkfast. Air conditioning was niosey in a makeshift window setup that room could have been broken itto. No gand soap at bathroom sick to even wash hands This experience was absulutly Awful Couldn't get out of there fast enough This day was our Anniversary and we were absolutely horrified we had to stay in this delapidated place across the street for this amount of cost let alone had to keave funds $200. for if we caused damages Non like the normal other hotel deposits A d then wait 3 business days to get rei.bursed. The information ticket for breakfast chit was A photocopy cut out piece of little paper that we had to present at breakfast. This in itself was a deterrent along with the underground walkeay tunnel to go to the main building for breakfast. Absolutely would never recommend any Conference to be held in such a terrible facilityatmophere!!!

The hotel is average. In our room it was ok. Nothing special. There were some stains on the carpet, a hole in a curtain. The air conditioner was a window unit and you could not close the curtains to use the air conditioner. There are signs that say they are doing renovations but from a neighbor who stayed there a few years ago , they were doing renovations then. An average hotel.

Outdated but clean and nice location

Rated 4 stars because it was one of the cheapest but also even though it was outdated the hotel, it was clean ! And the most important thing , it was only 2 blocks walking distance from downtown! So not crazy expensive and good location 👍

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. However, I paid extra for a renovated room. The entire hotel is posted with ‘under renovation’ signs. Our room was not renovated. At best it was mid renovation. I was told it had new flooring. The beds had no headboard. The tub and tile were old with mildew stains. There was paint slopped over every door handle, hinge, door jam, bathroom vanity. And what ever surface had received this sloppy paint job was already starting to chip. This was not the level of quality expected of a $300 per night room. There are much better options in downtown Charlottetown for this price. Quality Inn and Hotel on Pownell to mention a couple.

For being newly renovated it was in poor condition. The walls had noticeable damage. There is a microwave and fridge. But the hotel on north side is not secure out front. Positive: laundry. Wifi was non existent and no meat in breakfast. Good water pressure.

Convenient to walk to downtown. Property was under renovation according to signage. Never saw any work being done. Rooms need updating, odour in the room possibly because of carpet. Comfortable for our use. Stayed here years prior and definite decline in service and overall condition.

Terrible overall, especially for the price paid ($275 with tx). Our room was in shambles and we had no AC - all other rooms had a window unit except ours. It also does state on their website that there is AC. We arrived at 1am and with two sleeping kids, not worth going back to the reception, which was across the street, to then change rooms… there was mold in the tub and overall a very run down hotel. Breakfast was okay, pool was nice. I am ashamed of having been a customer at this hotel and cannot believe they would host conferences there (I would quit on the spot if my company took me there). This is a 1.5star, definitely not a 3.5.
