Suited our Needs!

The Charlottetown Conference Centre was perfectly suited to attending our show Anne & Gilbert, The Musical. It was centrally located and near to downtown. Clean but allot of summer/renovation work taking place. Included breakfast was good and overall this location met our needs. We would return in the future.

I would say they are able to accept guests based on their location but it's not Canadian standard accommodations and they would do best shutting it all down and tearing it down or doing a massive overhaul. they seem to be taking their sweet time perhaps they have permission? I wouldn't recommend it to my dog.

Although the property is undergoing a renovation it was quiet, the hallways and entrance way were safe and tidy. The breakfast staff were very friendly and kept the room nice and clean.

Not a great experience

I had paid un upgrade fee for a newly renovated room because I knew the hotel was under renovation. The room had scrapes all along the wall. It had just one USB port for charging devices and that did not work. Howver, the bed was comfortable and the room clean enough. Breakfast was totally underwhelming. Cornflakes or branflakes, very little in the way of fruit. There were waffles and toast.

The most redeeming quality about this property is that it is in a great location. Beyond that, I would not recommend this place at all. The dresser drawers were broken so we couldn’t use them for our 10 day stay. The carpet was stained in many places, the tv channels were lacking, CBC News network didn’t have any volume. The cleaning staff missed our room on more than one occasion and we had to call for replacement towels and coffee. The continental breakfast included was okay, but the only protein was very hard boiled eggs. The air conditioner was quite loud and didn’t work the same in the evening. The kitchen was acceptable but they did not have a cork screw available so we had to go and buy one. Overall, for the price, I would not recommend this stay to anybody.

Unfortunately the property is under renovation and dated (the area we stayed in), however, the staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was really clean, the beds were excellent. Great location. We would stay again.

There was construction going on, sometimes the workers would start at 8am sanding on the walls adjoining to our room. Also room did not get cleaned unless you requested it. Housekeeping staff never replaced toilet paper or towels
