Transportation From BSL
Exit the baggage claim area at BSL after your flights to Basel land, and you'll see clearly marked exits for the French part and Swiss part of the airport. Choose the Swiss exit and cross the border into Switzerland—by showing your passport or other ID—before you even leave the airport. From here, a drive to Basel takes only five minutes. Five car rental companies serve the Swiss zone; you can find their desks in Hall 4, Level 2 of the terminal building.
