Frequently asked questions
Flights To Marrakech
The capital of Morocco, Marrakech, features a chaotic yet captivating mix of Arabic, European, and African cultures. Marrakech flights will put you in the center of this confluence to explore an utterly unique culture. If you're lucky, you'll catch a glimpse of the snow-capped Atlas Mountains that cradle the city on your way in. If not, then when arriving at Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK), flights to Marrakech will pass over three lovely nearby gardens.
Transportation from RAK
A great way to head into the city is via an air-conditioned bus that leaves the airport every half hour. It passes most major Marrakech hotels, so just tell the driver where you're staying. Catch the bus outside the Arrivals Hall at Terminal 2 for a well-priced and comfortable ride into town. Alternatively, you can take a taxi, but don't take the first taxi you see. Unfortunately, the official airport taxi stand has long been a tourist trap, which often demands prices more than four times as much as the official taxi-metered price. While this taxi stand is the most convenient, you can spend your money more efficiently by simply bypassing the stand and walking a bit further to the roundabout in the car park area, where you can find a taxi for a fair price. If you're a light packer or extra adventurous, you can even walk the short three miles to the Medina, or the historic city center, in less than two hours, stopping halfway to visit the lovely Menara gardens.
Explore Marvelous Marrakech
Find cheap flights to Marrakech on Travelocity and save your money to spend in the city's iconic souks—bustling marketplaces selling aromatic spices, colorful cashmere scarves, and Morocco's famous Argan oil. Save up to $537 with our Marrakech vacation packages, featuring the best airfare options and lowest ticket prices. Get mobile exclusive deals on our mobile app.
