This was our first stay Avid and it was so great! The beds were so comfortable, the staff was courteous, breakfast was on point and it was a quiet atmosphere and safe are. When we visit Chicago area again, we will definitely be staying here!

I think our stay with the property was great. The staff and property were above expectations. My frustration has been with billing. By booking through Expedia, we don't have an IHG Itinerary number which is what you need for any IHG billing. Avid charged a $50 incidental fee that the front desk said we would get back upon leaving. It's actually 4-7 days. To find this out, I've been on the phone with an AI bot from AVID for almost 90 minutes who has been a gate keeper to talking with anyone. Finally, I got around the AI bot to find out I can't get an itinerary number or my money back until the time passes. I just wish they were transparent about this from when we checked into the hotel versus saying we would get it back upon check out.

Clean, good coffee, and very friendly staff. Free parking is hard to come by anymore, but they still provide it. I’ll always stay here when I come into town.
