Rental agreement, government ID, and security deposit hold required within 24 hours of initial reservation. For last minute reservations, the security deposit, RA, and ID are due two days before the guest arrival to secure the reservation and if not recieved 2 days prior to the reservation by the guest, the reservation will be considered cancelled by the guest, subject to our strict cancellation policy, with no refunds, no recourse, and OTA 24-hour cancellation policy is no lonnger applicable. The property can then be rented out to other guests.

This stylish place is perfect for both togetherness and a relaxing retreat as it is a two-unit vacation rental, with each unit offering its own private living space. This townhouse is 2 Bd, 1.5 Ba sleeping 4. The second unit is 3Bd, 2 Ba sleeping 6 and is rented separately. Each townhouse has its own kitchen, living room, dining room, entrance, water heater, deck and parking. Family fun made easy.

House Rules
-Guest must sign insurance required rental agreement, provide insurance required government ID, complete and maintain valid security hold, and complete all other forms within 24 hours of booking or the guest reservation is considered cancelled by the guest,(i.e. by not completing required forms in the required time as per house rules). The guest is then subject to all cancellation policies and fees. The Host is thereby free of all cancellation penalties and can then offer the property for rent immediately to other persons as desired.
-All required items (signed RA, valid ID, and security deposit hold) must be submitted within 24 hours of booking, and no later than 48 hours prior to arrival, whichever comes first. If not received 48 hours before arrival, the guest cancels their reservation and is subject to our strict cancellation policy. The OTAs 24 hour cancellation does not apply if less than 48 hours to arrival.
-A $500 security hold will be placed 2 days prior to arrival and released 7 days after departure, if no damages are reported and booking not cancelled or disputed. Dispute recovery fees, any civil actions and judgements and legal fees due to hosts will be billed to guests and are guests responsibility to pay. Guests indemnify hosts for all events and accidents in, on and around property.
-No Smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes, lit candles, pets, or plug in air fresheners, extra fees apply for violations, minimum of $250 or total cost to clean
-Strict no animals policy due to severe animal allergies, permanent disability and pervasive health conditions of owners and family
-No weapons allowed on property
-We have a strict Maximum number of each guests, only registered guests allowed on property, fees or cancellation apply.
-$30 extra charge incurred/ non registered person onsite/day
-Government ID's and names required for all guests (for insurance requirements), may be checked
-No parties or events
-Recommend travel insurance to protect you in case of nonrefundable reservations, weather, illness, travel cancellations and other unforeseen events
-Guest responsible to pay for all damages, extra cleaning, missing items, extra fees, and late check out fees
-Must be 25 years old or older to rent property and non-local (except Airbnb, must have legal age renter sign rental agreement.). If local must be renting for 7 days and pre-approved from host and deposit of $2000.
-Respect the neighbors and other guests onsite and in other unit
-Quiet hours 10:00 pm to 8:00 am
-Leave the house in good condition
-Upon check-out, take trash out, lock all doors/windows, start dishwasher, set thermostats to 65F in winter and 73F in summer and turn off any interior lights and electronics. Leave the sheets on the beds. Hang wet towels to dry. Leave the exterior flood lights on please. Return key(s) to lock box.
-Trash bins are on left side of garage. Please do not use the neighbor’s bins by the driveway, in the cedar fenced- in area.
-This home has window AC units and may be warm in +90F, +65% Humidity conditions. On those days a 10% discount will be given at the host’s discretion upon request.
-This is a vacation rental, not a long-term rental.
PARKING: Do not block driveway. Garage (2 vehicle, NO GARAGE ACCESS JUNE - SEPTEMBER 2026), shared driveway (2 vehicles), free street parking (4PM – 7AM on week days). Free street parking 24 hours on weekends. No street parking within 12 hours of an expected snowfall of more than 2 inches or until the snow has been removed.
-No street parking when posted on 1-2 parade days/year. Parades may start by 8-9 am or 12 pm and will block Old Grand Ave for 1-2 hours. Be sure to move your car off property beforehand or you will not be able to leave until the parade is over.
-Gurnee Days Parade 2026, Sun. Aug. 1-15th TBD at noon. Note Gurnee Days Festival 2026 Saturday August 1 and 14 TBD.
-Warren High School Homecoming Parade NONE 2026 at 9 am, staging at 8am.
-Snowplow and snow shoveling services automatically start with 1.5" of snow and occur anytime overnight and during day according to snow depth. Please do not block driveway and snowplows.
-Violations of house rules and/or OTA's terms and conditions may result in immediate reservation cancellation and eviction at host’s and/or rental portal service’s discretion without refund, discount, or recourse.
-Host may occasionally be on site and a neighbor parks his car onsite so please do not block the driveway or garage
-No refunds or discounts will be given for issues that arise if the host isn’t notified within 24 hours or immediately upon finding & providing the hosts the opportunities and access to remedy the issue within 24 hours
-We have security cameras on, located on house corners, doorbells, garage, & 1 tree recording the exterior including doors, deck, windows, garage and parking. No cameras look into inside or are located inside the home. Non recording Minut noise monitors are on, in living room & upstairs hall inside.
-One Minut noise and smoke monitor in living room and one in upstairs hallway, i.e. common areas, not in bedrooms or baths. Both units are on and do not record audio, only monitor sound decibels.
-Guest tampering with, blocking, disabling or unplugging of cameras, camera gateways, lock gateways Minut noise and smoke monitors, WIFI, internet, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, door locks, window locks, garage door keypads, garage locks, or lock boxes are subject to immediate cancellation of stay without refund or recourse
-Guests are not to send or receive mail or packages at the rental under penalty of immediate cancellation of stay without refund or recourse
-Airbnb Services, Airbnb Experiences and all other guest hired services like yoga classes, massages, decorating services, catering, entertainers, chef services, and all other outside services are not allowed in or allowed on the property. If this house rule is violated, the Guest's stay will be subject to immediate cancellation without refund, and all the guests and unauthorized guests will be required to leave the property immediately. Additionally, the guest agrees to an extra $30 charge per non registered guest or service provider per day, found to be on or in the property. The guest also agrees to pay for all damage repair and additional clean-up of the property to restore it to pristine rental condition.
-Minimum unauthorized event fee of $500 per occurance, plus all damages and additional cleanup costs, and guest reservation may be cancelled immediately without notice, refund or recourse.
