Lovely Studio in the Hills of Eden
Situated in a quiet neighborhood in the beautiful neighborhood of Walnut Hills! Walking distance to beautiful Eden Park, the Cincinnati Art Museum, and Krohn Conservatory! Completely renovated with stainless steel appliances, bar area for dining, and desk for work! Perfect for work trips or couples! There are about 15-20 steps up to the unit so keep this in mind when booking. The bathroom is small so be mindful when booking. We are always around to answer any questions or requests!
The pictures were probably the best that place has ever looked. Shower had used shampoo. Bed sheets were uncomfortable. The bed was made but and looked and felt dirty. The window air conditioner blew on us all night and felt dirty. We checked in late after a concert and entry went fine but couldnât wait to leave.
This place was a small & quiet place. Perfect for a little getaway. Host was super responsive & we had no issues. Those stairs were a doozy but overall really great.
Clean efficient space just off the park and an easy drive to most of the city. Accurately described by the host and posted reviews. An older building and steps that might not work for some.
When I first walked into the apartment the bed was unsaid, the shower curtain was down, the towels were used and it was clear that it was never cleaned. I contacted the owner and he did get back to us and let us know it was an accident and that the cleaners cleaned the wrong apartment. They had the cleaners come but it did take time out of our stay. We made the best of it but it was inconvenient. Accidents happen but I do wish we were given some sort of discount. But what mostly bothered me was that in the advertisement it says there is a heater, and there is, but it doesnât work. It gets very cold at night. Thankfully I read reviews and saw this was something someone else complained about so I brought a space heater just in case and thank goodness we did! Otherwise it would have been extremely uncomfortable, possibly unstayable. If booking make sure you bring a space heater or double check to make sure itâs working if youâre coming in the colder months! The location is incredible. Right next to Eden park, the conservatory, and the museum! You can spend days at the museum if youâre an art enthusiast like me and itâs free! (For now ) The apartment itself is fantastic. I love the area itâs in. Itâs safe and adorable. Overall I would still rebook here. Just think they need to either update that they donât provide a heater or get a heater.
The space heater was broken and property manager did NOT respond. Tenants upstair played heavy metal music until 2 in the morning. I left after the first freezing night but paid for three nights. Not happy.
Clean. Good location and parking. A bit cool at evening check in as it was 18 degrees outside and studio took awile to warm up. Overall a good value. Easy uber ride to Mt Adams and museums.
Small but exactly what I needed. Loved having a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Bathroom was very tight overall but plenty of room in the shower. I would have preferred a hook and / or towel rack but could make do.
Being right never to the front door, I could hear folks opening and closing the door and could hear someoneâs music or tv at night but that doesnât bother me.
I would prefer to have written directions for the coded doors to make sure I locked them correctly as I am not used to these types of locks but I figured them out.
Great location. I felt safe and love walking through Eden Park!!
The studio was exactly described in the listing. I was surprised to be unable to reach the host by VRBO inbox or phone, I mistakenly thought checkin was 3pm (it's 4pm) and tried to connect with host due to my early arrival to confirm whether the unit was available early, received no response. Other than that, this was a great overnight spot.
Great space, great owner, walls are super thin so if you have loud neighbors or someone walks down the stairs you can hear everything. Also our heat went out and we woke up to a super cold room but he came immediately and fixed it. Great service!
My wife and I drove from Indianapolis for a weekend in Cincinnati. We had planned on the Reds game on Sunday, which was sold out and there was a concert, so all hotels within 45 minutes were full. When we arrived at the property on 6/24 at 5:15 pm, there were belongings in the room and someone was obviously staying there. I called VRBO, and they tried to contact the owner. I have texted and called the number that is on the profile for the owner multiple times, with no response. I will include the text messages. I was forced to drive back to Indianapolis that evening. I had to cancel multiple events planned in Cincinnati and was not able to use the Reds tickets that I had previously purchased. This was a huge disappointment, and I would love for VRBO to make this right and let me know what exactly happened with the owner. A refund is obviously necessary, but this cost me much more time and money than what I paid for the actual room.
We didnât spent much time at the property. It had a comfortable bed. Very few amenities but not an issue for us. My only complaint is that it didnât get very dark at night. There was a porch light that stayed on and shades didnât block much.
