Convenient location

The air conditioning system doesn’t work at certain times of the year bc they said the system doesn’t operate locally. I’ve stayed here before for convenience, but depending on the time of year, it’s too cold in the room or way too hot. I would avoid staying in the spring or fall.

Just came back from 4 nights at the Westin. Our room was fine…wasn’t impressed at all more like ‘it will do’. But the staff was exceptional! From the front desk people to Theresa with room service (she was just awesome) and Tracy in security (also just amazing) good fun people chat and engage with. They made our trip just great!

The hotel itself was good, though it felt a little 'unpersonal' because of the set up with the empty courtyard space and the lobby upstairs, away from the escalators and elevators. The room was excellent; very spacious and clean. I was surprised that there was no microwave, missed that in the room description. The worst thing about my stay was the parking garage. The entrance to the parking is too narrow and too windey, it gave me anxiety every time I arrived at the hotel. And having to pay for parking every day is not ideal either.

The lobby is nice, we went to the bar and ordered food. The food comes from the room service kitchen and took over an hour. When it arrived it definitely was not fresh. The breakfast restaurant was a bit confusing and the lady we asked for clarification was snide when she replied. Parking garage isn’t clearly marked for where to go to exit garage on foot or how to get to the lobby.

Overall, I had a very positive experience during my stay at the Westin Cincinnati. The aspects that make a hotel stay truly comfortable – likely service, cleanliness, and general amenities – were great, and I enjoyed my time here. However, there were a couple of areas where the hotel could use some attention. The furniture in my room felt a bit dated and could benefit from a refresh to match the otherwise pleasant atmosphere. Additionally, I encountered some minor issues with the bathroom fixtures; not all of them were working perfectly, which was a slight inconvenience. Despite these minor points, the positives of my stay outweighed the negatives. It's a good hotel, but addressing the dated furniture and ensuring all bathroom fixtures are in perfect working order would elevate the guest experience even further. I would still consider staying here again due to the overall quality of the experience.
