Pikes Peak Cabin Above the Clouds - Dog Friendly

Welcome to the mountains and glad your here! Our cabin was built in 1951 and is tucked away behind Pikes Peak in the heart of Woodland Park, CO known as the "City Above The Clouds" and is available to rent to guest 26 years of age or older. The cabin has a private 4-person hot tub to enjoy with views of the Rocky Mountains!

A winter wonderland and a summer paradise! Enjoy skiing, but don't like the crowds or costly lodging at ski resorts? Our cabin is 1 hour & 40 min to Breckenridge!The cabin is perfect for family, friends or just for a romantic weekend getaway. No hidden fee's and we do not charge for additional guest! Enjoy the stunning views of Pikes Peak in your own private cabin or from the hot tub. Park your car & walk to shops, restaurants, breweries, liquor store, parks, church, Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Research Center, Aquatic Center or to the casino pick up area and get a ride to and from Cripple Creek & check out some gambling or a live show at the local theatre. The backyard faces Pikes Peak and offers stunning views! The yard is large and a perfect place for grilling, playing fetch with your dog, or hanging out with the kids while you take in the views! Soak in the hot tub and watch the sun set over the mountains and look for wildlife. Relax with a glass of wine at the outdoor table in the backyard & star gaze. The cabin in located on a corner lot and is partially fenced in. Plenty of free parking for multiple cars, boats, trailers or a camper in the backyard & two parking places in the front of the home. Hang out in the cabin and indulge in relaxation. It's thoughtfully decorated with all the feel of the mountains for you to enjoy. You'll even find a tree in the kitchen / den that we found while hiking & is now an addition to the cabin.

After a day of exploring the outdoors or the town, spend an evening relaxing. Cuddle up with a blanket and a glass of wine next to the fireplace and download your favorite movie, TV show, games or music from one of the many apps with your log-in information that is available on a Smart HD LED Fire TV's. Watch your favorite live sporting event or live TV with over 100 channels on Dish satellite.

Want some privacy? There is a separate sitting area that is perfect for reading one of the books available, or playing one of the many games in the cabin for a fun night in and memorable times with family or friends. Bringing your kiddo's? Coloring books, colors, kids' books, 2 kids bicycles, outdoor bowling and games are available for their fun times too. There are 2 adult bicycles available as well. The town bike / walking path is right out the front door so feel free to walk or stroll through town on the bikes!

Enjoy cooking? The kitchen is stocked with essential cooking utensils, a double oven and 5 burner gas stove! Enjoy the open kitchen and the indoor tree! Full refrigerator, ice maker with dispenser & filtered water, dishwasher, microwave, drip coffee maker, blender and crockpot. Plate settings for 11 along with coffee cups and wine glasses too. Several cookbooks are available as well.
Dog Friendly cabin with a maximum of 2 dogs allowed. The backyard is completely fenced-in for your dog. The pet fee is $30. Your dog will love the walking distance to 2 parks, hiking trails right out the door and nearby lakes and reservoirs. A dog's dream! If you bring your dog, we kindly ask: * No dogs on any furniture or beds. * Tell us a little about Fido. * No chewers please. * Dog mush have all shots up to date * Must be kenneled at all times if you leave the cabin and do not leave your dog alone in the enclosed outside area * Outdoor areas must be cleaned up before your departure. * $30 - pet cleaning fee. *unauthorized dogs or other animals - guest will be automatically charged a $150 pet fee.

Location - 3 miles to Charis, a short drive to Santa's Work Shop, entrance to Pikes Peak (American's Mountain), CO Wolf & Wildlife, Manitou Cliff Dwellings, Cave of the Winds, Manitou Springs, Old Colorado City, Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs and Cheyenne Zoo. Cripple Creek - 27 miles, 30 miles - Eleven Mile Reservoir, 56 miles - Royal George, 72 miles - Denver, 86 miles - Breckenridge. Camping, hiking and fishing right down the street! Bedroom #1 - King, plush bedding, new 32" HDTV Fire flat screen smart TV, electric remote fireplace, walk-in closet with hangers and large chest of drawers for storage. Bedroom # 2 - Queen, plush bedding, electric fireplace with remote, new 32" HDTV Fire flat screen smart TV, closet with hangers and large chest of drawers for storage. Bedroom #3 - 2 XL Twin beds, plush bedding and closet for storage with hangers. Couch - sleeps 1 - extra pillows and blankets provided. Pack'n Play is also provided. Den # 1 - gas fireplace and 32" HDTV Fire flat screen smart TV. Den # 2 - sitting area with table & 2 chairs High Fiber WIF, Full washer & dryer. Soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, towels, hair dryers, paper towels and toilet paper provided. Cleaning supplies are also provided. Outdoor - gas grill, 4-person hot tub and outdoor table and chairs and a fire pit (Please check the local fire ban status before lighting a fire - https://www.co.teller.co.us/ ) Nearest airport - Colorado Springs - 29 miles, Denver International Airport - 56 miles.

No smoking or vaping allowed inside the cabin and parties are not allowed.***Unauthorized parties - guest will automatically be charged a $500 fee.
