This was our second stay at this property. Our previous visit was better.
Unfortunately, this time the overall experience was disappointing. Throughout the weekend there were several noisy and inconsiderate guests. One night, around 4:00 AM, there was a physical altercation in a neighboring room and the hotel staff had to call the police, which seriously disrupted the stay.
While we were genuinely happy to return to this hotel, it felt different this time. It appeared that some long-term or transient residents were staying on the property, giving parts of the hotel a hostel-like atmosphere rather than a standard hotel experience.
On the positive side, the rooms are spacious and well equipped, including a TV, mini fridge, microwave, and a work desk. There is also a pool in the center of the property, although the weather was not suitable for using it during our stay.
Breakfast was below average and quite limited. In addition, our room had a strong cigarette smell, and the combination with the cleaning products used by the hotel resulted in an unpleasant odor.
Overall, the value for the price is still decent, and we would consider staying here again since it is a more affordable option compared to hotels in the Walnut Creek area. However, a few improvement especially regarding noise control, cleanliness, and overall atmosphere would make the stay much more comfortable.
