For a four or five star hotel the employees were extremely unhelpful and didn't seem to want to do anything for the guests. My balcony was covered with bird poop and was never clean the entire week I was there. It was completely unusable. I tried to book the day pass for the beach club that they have at their sister hotel and was told to use the app to book it. At a high end hotel I would expect guest services to handle these things for me. I downloaded the app which then referred me to the front desk to book the beach club for the day pass. I will never stay at a Dusit property again after the poor service I received here.

I recently stayed at Dusit D2 Davao and found it to be a pleasant experience. The hotel offers easy parking and is conveniently located, making it a great choice for both business and leisure travelers. I felt safe and secure throughout my stay. However, the dining staff could benefit from being more attentive to guests, particularly when it comes to food and water refills. Overall, it’s a solid option with room for improvement in service.

This has been the worst hotel check-in experience I’ve ever had. Our booking confirmation was for three Deluxe King City View rooms with king-size beds, but upon arrival, the agent informed us that each room only had two twin beds instead. Check-in was supposed to be at 2:00 PM, yet only one room was ready at that time. We had to wait another two hours for the second room, and the third wasn’t available until 2 hours and 45 minutes later. When I raised my concerns, the agent explained that the delay was due to guests checking out late and housekeeping running behind. I asked to speak with the manager and requested a discount as compensation, but the manager never acknowledged or addressed my request.

I'm sad to say my first stay at this hotel was very disappointing. Upon arrival, the suite I was given smelled terribly like sewage. It was so strong, with no exaggeration, I wanted to throw up when inside the room. The management moved me to another room, but the corridor smelled moldy very strongly. It seemed unsafe to even breathe in those corridors. I do want to acknowledge the management and staff were nice and they seemed to be doing their best. But how much can they do for their customers when the building itself is in much need of being cleaned, mold removed and fixing. During breakfast or dinner times, the staff was very nice and kind. But again, even though the staff were doing their best, the building and rooms themselves are not in their best condition. There are other hotels in Davao that I heard is in much better condition. I would do more research before booking this hotel when visiting Davao.
