We have stayed here many timea and the people are just wonderful but this last visit was not so good. Many roaches on the room. Not just the water bugs, i mean the pointy german roaches. We had to empty oir bags and clean everything before bringing into our home. At first just a few but by the 3rd day they were many. On th toilet paper. In the closet, walking across pillow.

I was impressed as i wasn't expecting much. It wasn't perfect but for the price it was good. Kitchen didn't have a spatula and few cooking utensils. The beds were made military style and clean, had recliners. I saw handle was broken on one. I stayed alone but booked for two. There was only one washcloth but i'm sure if i had asked i would've gotten another. The office hours are 09 to 2100. I was checking out at 0600. There is a coffee pot but they don't supply coffee. The manager seems to be good with making sure rules are followed. A person tried to sneak a pet in and was asked to leave. The manager speaks English fluently. I was down for Biketoberfest so i didn't stay at hotel much except last day. It was chilly and windy, the pool despite it wasn't to be open was clean. I noted when there a person did check ph. The view is fantastic. The tv didn't hook to internet but im sure if i went to office it wouldve been taken care of. No it's not perfect for the price, it's fantastic. I'd stay again

Enjoyed Our Stay at Sand Castle

Great location, friendly staff, economically price on the positive side. No hot water in shower (but did have hot water in the bathroom and kitchen sinks — go figure??) and the room could use a deep cleaning once in awhile on the negative side. Overall, we will probably stay at Sand Castle again.

Ok except bed

Overall, it's ok. However the bed was the old standard double bed NOT a queen size. The mattress was not the best either , lumpy ! ALL beds these days should be minimum size queen !

If I could give this place a 10 star review I would! From the staff to the rooms to the perfect location this is an all around AMAZING place to stay at! Not even at the Hilton inn will you get this type of hospitality, I highly recommend anyone who’s looking for a get away to find a room at the SandCastle Motel!
