Welcome to The Serenity Suite at Sunglow Resort! This penthouse-style 2BR condo gives you a center-stage, panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean and the beach. Located 10 floors up on the very top floor of popular Sunglow Resort, enjoy your vacation right in the middle in bustling Daytona Beach Shores. Our brand-new sparkling pool and relaxing hot tub overlooking the Atlantic have just been completed for you to enjoy!

The Space:
Welcome to "Serenity Suite 1002" at Sunglow Resort! As of August 2024 the resort has finished up some massive renovations to the front lobby and pool area! Updates include new heated pool, pool deck, hot tub, grill station, 2 new elevators and more! We are so excited for the updates and hope you can see them for yourself!

Picture yourself here in the two bedroom, two bathroom serenity suite! Sleeping up to 6 guests, this updated condo has 2 queen sized beds, a queen sleeper sofa, and a beautiful balcony overlooking the grandiose white sand beaches that Daytona Beach Shores is famous for!

This top floor condo features a fully stocked kitchen complete with an oven, stove, microwave, full-sized fridge and breakfast bar. The kitchen flows into an open-concept living space with a flatscreen TV, comfy queen sized sofa bed and a spacious beachfront balcony! The primary bedroom has a queen size bed, private en-suite bathroom and sliding doors with access to the beach-front balcony. Around the corner is a second cozy queen bedroom as well as a full private bathroom with a hair dryer and complimentary toiletries for your stay.

Enjoy free high speed Wireless Internet and Roku Smart TV with access to all your favorite streaming apps! (Please note, this unit does NOT include cable TV) Brew your morning coffee and enjoy the sunrise from your private balcony.

Guest Access:
Check-In time is 3:00 p.m. and Check-Out time is 11:00 a.m. Once you have entered the lobby, go to the front desk to pick up your 2 physical keys, (1) lobby key and (1) room key. If you are arriving any time AFTER 5:00 p.m., you will need to retrieve your keys from the lockbox outside, to the left of the front lobby door. Once you have received your keys, use the elevator inside the lobby to go to your floor. You need your lobby key to enter and exit the pool area, so make sure to always keep your keys with you.

The Neighborhood:
Daytona Beach is famous for its motorsports, events, golfing, shopping and, of course, iconic white sand beaches! Staying at the Sunglow Resort puts you right in the center of all Daytona Beach has to offer. Whether you are traveling with friends or family, there is no shortage of fun and entertainment! Enjoy a stroll down the boardwalk to visit the Pier next door and grab dinner on the water at Crabby Bill's. If you prefer an escape, take the day to explore the World Center of Racing or enjoy a ride down the scenic 34-mile "Loop". All of this and more is right outside your front door when your book your stay in Daytona Beach with us!

Getting Around:
Daytona Beach Shores is a very walkable area with the beach boardwalk and pier right outside your door! If you're looking to use a ride-share service, we recommend using Uber or Lyft to get around the beach area as public parking can be limited. Cars are allowed on the beach for a $20 fee if you choose to use your own vehicle to explore during your stay.

Other Things to Note:
- There are NO pets of any kind allowed on the premises. Guests who bring service animals must complete an application 30 days before arrival for Sunglow HOA Board approval.
- The concierge desk in the lobby is open Monday to Saturday from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm and Sunday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
- The beach is accessible directly from the property. Our brand-new sparkling pool and relaxing hot tub overlooking the Atlantic have just been completed for you to enjoy!
-The outdoor beach shower tower is located on the pool deck, allowing for quick cleans after a trip on the beach.
- This property does not have Cable TV. Thanks for understanding.
- Guests will only receive one parking permit upon arrival. Additional vehicles will have to be parked offsite at a location of their choosing.

- Painting will start 11-17 and will be done around 12-1-25

Don’t bother - Not as nice as the pictures

Room and hotel were no where near as nice as the pictures. The ocean view was very cool, but I wouldn’t bother with this place unless you’re in college and looking for a party hotel. Not worth the price at all.Hotel - low quality. Everything was dirty. Felt like it needed more security.Room itself - Floor had weird “coating” - felt nasty walking in bare feet. Poor quality appliances- ac broke, sockets didn’t work, tub faucet broken, old crappy door/lock, etc.

Great beach vacation spot

We had a very nice stay at the Sunglow Resort. So close to the pier, beautiful direct ocean view and really nice new pool and hot tub area. You can walk for miles. The property was a bit more run down than pictured, but it didn't affect the quality of our stay. It was nice to have a dishwasher and the small appliances. Plenty of ice cube trays and the dehumidifier runs around the clock which helps the AC work well. A couple of things that would help would be new outlets, as some of them don't want to hold a plug, extra hanging space or wall hooks for towels and a couple of beach chairs would be awesome. There is no cable TV so make sure you know your streaming app passwords to avoid frustration so you can watch TV. There were 6 large beach towels provided as well as dish soap and dishwasher tabs. The coin laundry worked well. Our key was left after hours just as they said and there are no annoying staff members kicking you out of the pool at night. Nice room darkening drapes and plenty of extra blankets and bedding for the pullout couch. Also there were several box fans too and lots of hangers in the closets. Would definitely stay at the Sunglow again, whether in this unit, or a similar one. We are twice at Crabby Joes on the pier and they have good food. Can't beat the convenience of that! miles. miles

Tenth floor property was ok

Property was clean; however the renters before us stole the tv box so we had no tv in one of the bedrooms — the cleaners should have realized it was gone. Also, when asked for a small portion of rental back we were told they couldn’t accommodate us. Frustrating! Beds were high and uncomfortable. Great location; however we will rent from an individual owner who cares more about everything being delivered as promised.

Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay. However to help you improve it, the master bath toilet brush was broken and very dirty as well as the bottom of the garbage can. Also the power strip on table lamp and dehumidifier is inopt. Small paint touch-up needed through out. We will ask to stay here again. Overall excellent!

Unit #1002 - great view!

There is still a lot of construction going on, inside and outside the property from last year’s hurricane. Pool and hot tub are still not available, but that was communicated before booking. Unit was clean and well stocked with towels and bedding. There was a sponge to use in the kitchen, but I couldn’t find a dish towel or potholders
but didn’t cook anything, so wasn’t a problem. Beds were pretty comfortable, but really tall, but they did provide steps if needed. Good sized balcony was wonderful and loved the views of the ocean from living room and bedroom. I did notice rust on some of the appliances and door hardware. Will probably want to purchase drinking water. Would stay here again if we return to Daytona Beach.

Great condo with beautiful views

This condo was perfect for our girls trip! Has 2 separate bedrooms with separate bathrooms and each had its own waterfront view! We even added an extra day because we liked it so much! Communication with the property managers was very easy! We will definitely be back!

Penthouse on the Beach

Okay, a condo, not a penthouse, but it was on the top (10th) floor. Because this is managed by a business, not an individual, the little extras that I'm used to in a VRBO property were lacking. There was a bare minimum of amenities (no snacks, flowers, that sort of thing), but the view made up for that. We stayed mid-week at a time when there were no big events, so it was very quiet both at the condo and in town which is just what we wanted. Check the closets for the steps that make getting into the bed possible. Both beds are those ridiculously high things that I just don't understand. The condo was spotless which considering the high cleaning fee was just as it should be. Sitting on the balcony enjoying the sea breeze was pure pleasure. The hotel-type rolling carts to transport all your luggage in one trip was a nice touch as were the grocery carts to move groceries from the car to the condo. I expect we'll go back to this property again. They will be closed from summer through spring as they finish renovating after the hurricane, but I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

Condo was great. Unfortunately our neighbors were quite the party people and the strong smell of marijuana was overwhelming inside and out. The loud music, chairs being drug across the floor , slamming doors and loud talking until after midnight was disappointing. I would rent again however I would be afraid of the same problem.

Beautiful balcony view

This property is very nicely located on the 10th floor with a balcony coming out of the main room & out of the master bedroom. Kitchen was fairly nicely stocked. One of the nicest parts for 2 couples is that the rooms are split across the apartment, so you don’t hear everytime a toilet flushes or someone sneezes. Do note when checking the property that they have no current hot tub or pool. There is a lot of destruction from hurricane Ian currently. I would say that the building is very dated.

Overall enjoyable

The condo itself was clean and comfortable. Only issue really was with security. First night had to park in public parking because reserved spots were taken by vehicles lacking a parking pass. Second night the security guard was rude in the way he addressed us trying to go to the hottub at 10pm. Apparently it closes at 10 which is fine but he could have said it in a better way. There was a young couple there already and they were being quiet, not disturbing anyone...he was rude to them also in the way he told them to get out.
