"Brand new designer hotel, with a very ‘woody’ theme. It’s all very stylish, and quite different. Staff were excellent, friendly reception, great barman, and helpful breakfast staff. The rooms are spacious with really comfortable beds, and super bathrooms. The included breakfast was very good, with a huge selection of hot and cold options, plus an amazing selection of pastries. The only change I would make is to change the light levels at night to make the bar area more inviting. Location wise it’s close to a tram stop, but Ubers are only €5 to the city centre ( €12 from the airport). It’s a quiet business/residential neighbourhood, close to the FC Porto stadium, but there is an area 5 minutes walk away with several cafes and restaurants, which were all very nice around the Jardim Doutor Francisco Sá Carneiro. Matter of fact, our first try for this kind accommodation when traveling! 705! Our lucky number and most pleasant experience! The free breakfast delivery by your door at the time you requested, the kitchen appliances, and the rooms were all clean and convenient. Hotel staff helped us to book a wonderful Douro valley wine tour , the “Living Tour”, which was an excellent choice! We were so pleased with our experience with 705 hotel! I will definitely recommend this place and remember all staff members who treat us like their friends and family!! "
