5 stars overall. Rock fish staff fantastic at breakfast, Kyoto cocktail bar staff amazing, had to work hard with the restaurant staff. Annoying when you cannot get a drink in lobby bar because you have to book a table just for a drink in a hotel you are paying to stay, lots of non residents I guess.

Not sure what VIP ACCESS HOTEL means as I didn’t receive any benefit of that. Don’t really understand this. Hotel I have stayed in many times & I love it. It can be expensive & restaurants are expensive but so worth it. Staff friendly & helpful. Hotel immaculately clean. Food amazing.
