The hotel was lovely and the breakfast each morning was excellent. However, the room wasn't cleaned properly, with towels being left on the window sill and dust on surfaces. Location wise the hotel is great for exploring Bruges

"the hotel -1470's building- beautiful, enchanted, fairy tale place, the room very spacious, beautiful decorate(back on romantic' times) bathroom was comfortable,- not shower, only bathtub- but clean, large. I love the hotel, goes with the atmospheres of the city. we love it.
the only complain is the day we arrived-Nov 9-2026- the front desk lady was very rude and unfriendly-she must have been having a bad day, because when we see her the next day, she turned out to be pleasant. however, our arrival left us with a bad impression, I believe that hotel staff need to show more empathy and patience, when guest arrive, we have just come off a flight of over 12 hours-nearly 24 hours without sleep- and they are the very first impression we get of the country/city. With that exception of that incident-which I believe is important to mention as constructive criticism- everything else was fantastic and I highly recommend the hotel."
