The hotel is trendy, modern and located conveniently close to the airport. Check in was quick and easy. A welcome cocktail was offered and an orange concoction was poured from a large glass dispenser with a spigot placed behind the bar. For $300 a night, either don’t bother or offer a real cocktail. At the bar and restaurant some staff members were attentive to customer needs while a couple seemed unsure what to do. Definitely a training issue. The room we were in was compact with a comfortable bed. The self service breakfast was good. Overall a decent stay.

This is the perfect hotel if you have an early morning flight out of Edinburgh. Comfy beds and a bar to that serves food with a decent wine list. What’s not to love ?

Room was exceptional with cool lighting features. Under bed lights which aided one to the bathroom. The bar & food situation was a 1 out of 10. Marginal at best. Out of stock on mant beer brands. A hotel that if you don't need service for food & Beverage is a 10 of 10 for the rooms

Checked two weeks beforehand that beds would be as needed and assured this would be accommodated. They weren't and nothing could be done. Actual menu is much more limited than online version. Ordered one dessert as it was late evening advised it would take 20-30 minutes as they were busy (plenty spare seats though). No sign of it after 35 minutes so asked about it. Team leader went to check but didn't return after 5 minutes. By this time it was nearly 9pm and with two kids and an early start we left without the dessert. USB port next to bed doesn't work. Bathroom smells of bad drains. Noise all night long - not of planes! Would not ever book here again. Wasted my money.

It is a fine place to stay awaiting a flight. The check-in process was a bit chaotic and slow, as it appeared the staff was somewhat overwhelmed. The room was generally clean (with the exception of the TV remote, which was not) rather small, a bit dated, but adequate. I found it odd that the hotel does not run a shuttle to the airport—your choices are to walk toting your luggage for about a half mile, or pay 3 pounds to ride a city bus.

A budget hotel at 6 star prices due to its proximity to the airport. We and others had a terrible meal service the night we were there and the meals were average bar rated meals, adequate but not great. Being a captive market we had to take what we could get as the only other local restaurant was booked days out. Obviously word about this place was out and we had missed the memo. To be fair the room was comfortable, the bed very good and a good shower, something not common throughout Scotland so credit for that.

When I walked up to the check in desk I was not acknowledged. The man behind the bar was making coffees, but I couldn’t tell if he was the concierge. All he had to say was “I’ll be right with you.” Then our room wasn’t ready for an hour after check in time.
