Unfortunately, our room wasn’t ready on time and instead of being informed that ahead of time, the staff told us it would be ready 20 minutes early, then at check in time and then each contradicted each other with a 20 minute or 1 hour longer wait for our room after check in. It was hard to get a hold of additional towels (there weren’t enough in the first place) and there was no shower curtain for our bathroom which also wasn’t rectified. Beyond this, the rooms were spacious, decent hot breakfast, kids enjoyed the pool and the rooms were clean.

Our room was clean and had obviously been updated, but the details (bedside lamps, furniture, not enough electrical outlets, mattress, etc.) were very basic or not enough. There was no wardrobe or closet to hang clothes, just a rod on the wall. The bed was really firm, too firm for me, but that’s just my taste. Furnishings were sparse and very basic, although everything including the paint and wallpaper was very fresh and clean and relatively new. Nothing was really bad, I just expected more at this price point. We had to turn our air conditioning unit off because it was blowing really cold air and it didn’t respond to adjusting the temperature. The kids loved the pool and the breakfast was pretty much what you might expect, not bad, but the dining room is very small. Overall the hotel was what I would call adequate. We only stayed one night and I would go back again (to spend a night passing through Edmundston) for the cleanliness and “freshness” of the room, and of course the pool, but to me it wasn’t comfortable or well appointed enough for a longer stay.

The property was lovely and clean. I gave this rating because there was food charged to our room that we did not order. We had to check out early and there was no one to fix the problem. The guy on the desk said Expedia was charged for the food not me.. WHAT?! Sounded foolish to me. I will definitely end up paying for this food we didn’t charge or consume. Before food is charged to a room shouldn’t you have to provide ID? Obviously not at this hotel!

Beautiful rooms, very clean and modern. Breakfast had many choices and was quite fresh however with the volume of guests it may be a good idea to expand this area. Very convenient location just off the highway with a large fuel station nearby.
