The room was clean and the property was well maintained
The disappointment was the continental breakfast, there were fruit flies on the fruit and not much in the way of food

Bathroom floors dirty shower curtain dirty breakfast limited we had 2 toaster one with 4 slice didn't work so only one with 2 slice had to wait in line would not go back overpriced for what we got.
Room was visibly dirty. For example, the bathroom door had visible grime that could wipe off with a little soap and cloth. The property is dated and would need a facelift, the room was very spacious. Also staff opened our room door around 8 luckily we had the chain on the door so they could not come in but that was very disconcerting. Breakfast had a good choice of toast and bagels, but no child friendly (sugary) options for cereal. Good choice of juices as well but really could have used better selection of fruits and maybe some hard boiled eggs. Again the place looks worn down with visible cracking stucco ceiling in dining room and really dated decor. Check in and check-out were fast and effective though.
Liked the Kurig coffee maker. Nice to able to sit outside with table & chairs.

Very overpriced for the quality of the room. $193 CAD+TAXES - should be priced closer to $100/night. Bed was very uncomfortable and extremely squeaky; it woke me up several times through the night. Bedding was very thin as well and the sheet did not fully cover the mattress. The towels were like sandpaper and too small/thin. The pillows would be sufficient for a toddler, they were extremely small and paper thin. Overall the room was very outdated, I would guess it hasn't been updated since the 1980s.
The only good thing was that it was clean and quiet.
We stayed 1 night in the 2 queen sized bed room. Although the pillows were thin, the mattress was good. It had a TV, microwave, little fridge and a desk by the window. You got soap and shampoo and plenty of towels. Continental breakfast was included between 7 and 11 am. We got there at 10:30 and nothing was left but cold coffee, this is why I gave them a 9 and not a 10. I found it overpriced.
The place is well located, 5 minutes drive from Grand Falls and restaurants. However, this Travelodge is older. Well kept on the outside but inside the lobby and the room, it needs renovations. The room itself was ok but small. The bed, TV and bathroom were new. The furniture was old and rundown. There was a fridge and a coffee machine in the room. It’s ok for 1 night stay but I’ve been to better ones.

We booked this property because of the Travelodge brand. However, on arrival, it was clear it was an old run down motel that had received barely a coat of paint. The room was dirty, beds were horribly uncomfortable, linens were thin and scratchy and the overall condition of the property was poor. Terribly overpriced for the experience.
