Great stay

Older motel but the rooms are clean. The breakfast is great. They have make your own waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, home fries, baked beans a variety of cereals plus many other options. The staff is friendly and lots of parking spaces.

The room was clean, noise is the main issue from train at 10:30 pm. There was vibration in room not sure what that is from. We liked the breakfast and very nice staff and reception. We have stayed before. The rates are cheaper.

Upon arriving after 3pm (check in time) i was informed my room was not ready. I then said “is check in time not 3pm?” The staff said “yes” so I asked how long it would be until my room was ready as it was already after 3pm. The staff told me “I can’t say a time incase it’s not done then” At approximately 4:30pm I finally got my room. Was very disappointed when I entered my room and it was still dirty. There was left over chips on the floor, one of bed sheets had orange spots on them like food had been spilled. The room should’ve been cleaned especially after making us wait an extra 1.5 hours for our room.

Surprisingly nice!

Nicer than expected for a hotel along highway. We stayed in one of the cabins around the pond out front. Excellent breakfast. The only thing we didn’t like was the strong smell of cleaner when we got in the room. We had to leave the door open for some time to air it out.

Great stop over

The room was very clean, great shower pressure. The breakfast was great. They offered everything from waffles to eggs, bacon and sausage. Plus cereals and other breakfast items.

There is a lot going for this hotel… very large dining room for breakfast and big lobby with wooden beams. Room was also very spacious.

We were disappointed re amenities stated on the web site were not operational e.g. Sauna and Gym, the pool was good but the area around was not clean. The hangers in the closet were so high we could not reach them and we were not advised that maid service was not daily.
