The hotel is located close to the Corning glass museum with free parking and an electric charging station. The check in was quick and the staff was very friendly. Our room was large, comfortable and clean. Breakfast at the restaurant was great.

What I want most from a hotel is a clean and quiet place to stay. This met both those criteria. And..you could easily walk to the Corning museum! It was interesting to be awaken by the Corning workers time blasts, a remnant of when these sound blasts would tell workers to get up and get going to work. We had a view of the river and the other side of town. A hour out to dining at The Cellar across the river (also walkable from the hotel).

Jenny, was very helpful. My digital card took time to work and Jenny helped. The break fast staff needs a little work. They were overwhelmed with a few tables and i came to take breakfast upstairs and seemed like a big deal. The waitress kept saying the cook is very busy. I felt like an inconvenience. The second day the staff was much better. The waitress with the freckles was pleasant.

In comparison with other hotels and motels, Hilton Garden Inn gives the guest the opportunity to have dinner in the hotel and to order breakfast instead of only a buffet. From my room I had a nice view of the river that goes through Corning, and the parking is very convenient.
