This 2 bed / 2 bath top floor Pelican Sound condo is located in the subdivision of Turnberry and offers access to an array of world class amenities including a 27 hole golf course, 6 community pools, a formal clubhouse & a more casual dining option at the river club, river access to the Gulf of Mexico, and much more. Check-in is a breeze with our convenient keyless entry, which allows direct access to the home upon arrival! Our condo is just a few steps to one of the resort style pools, the grilling area, and the River Club amenities. Overlook the golf course on the screened-in balcony. This unit is a great destination for active guests looking to experience the Southwest Florida lifestyle and keep busy with all this community has to offer.

Pelican Sound's amenities include golf: aquatic driving range, and a 27 holes golf course; The three nine-hole courses were thoughtfully created to preserve the integrity of the many areas of wetlands and woodlands. This course is unusual for Southwest Florida because of its rolling terrain and many doglegs. The greens are medium to large, moderately undulating and some are two and three-tiered. Each course has a set of nine tees making up an 18-hole round ranging from 3,909 yards to 6,893 yards that offer every level of player an equal opportunity to enjoy. 18-hole rounds are made of two nine-hole courses, which rotate daily. This ensures top quality maintenance on the course and an ever-changing challenge for the player Other resort style amenities are 6 Har-Tru tennis courts, boat launch at Estero River-to Gulf of Mexico access, water taxi to Lovers' Key beach, canoes & kayaks, new state-of-the-art fitness center, 6 community pools/spas + kiddie pool, tot lot, bocce, jogging paths, pickleball, basketball, formal Clubhouse & newly renovated River Club Sports Bar for casual dining. The Beach Shuttle Boat leaves the River Club dock for leisurely cruises down the scenic Estero River to Lovers Key, and the boat ride often includes dolphin watching, and is as pleasurable as the destination! A month in Paradise!
The off season in FL is the best! May was beautiful and the community is a resort with every amenity you can think of! One negative with this property, and only for some folks, are the outside stairs. There is not an elevator on this 2 level building.

Our stay was made completely carefree by the RGSWFL. They communicated detailed instructions, provided prompt responses and support whenever we had questions.We dealt with three different team members and they were all professional and friendly. We had no hesitation to book the same condo for next year at the same time. As for the condo unit, it was clean and nicely furnished. It fit our needs perfectly. If there was any suggestion we could make, it would be for some updating of cooking pans, and perhaps a new set of chairs for the balcony. Pelican Sound is wonderful, active community with extensive recreational facilities. The unit has a fantastic, expansive view of golf course and water. The unit itself is comfortable for four and adequately furnished. It could use a few more utilitarian items, such as more plates and dishes, juice glasses and beach paraphernalia, but these are minor inconveniences. We would stay here again.
